We had a fantastic stay at this property! The host was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They even allowed us to check in early, which was a huge bonus for us.The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and cookware we needed to prepare meals during our stay. But the highlight of the property was definitely the secret room filled with games of all sorts. The kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! It was a great way to keep them entertained during our downtime at the property.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation spot. We can't wait to come back again!
Such an amazing house. Our stay was with 6 friends. We all had plenty of space to spread out, plenty of bathrooms and the open concept first floor was wonderful. This will be a return property for sure.
We loved our return visit to the Hydrangea House! Kevin is always warm and responsive. It’s a lovely home and we especially love the screened in porch. We hope to visit again.
Fabulous vacation rental! Kevin was extremely accommodating and kind. The house far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well appointed. We had a fabulous lobster dinner there and enjoyed barbecue on Fourth of July with family. The house was a great location to get to beaches with the kids and wonderful restaurants and of course shopping in Kennebunkport. Would very much love to stay there again!
We had a wonder week here. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. There were a ton of toys available for our kids to play with and everything you need for the beach. The house is beautiful, well cared for, and very clean. Everyone in our party said it was the best house they had ever rented.
The house was lovely ! It was just like the photos. It was a rainy weekend but we had a great time celebrating Grandmas 89 th birthday in magical Kennebunkport
We had a wonderful stay at the Hydrangea House! Kevin was a great host who provided recommendations in advance of our stay, and also was very easy to get ahold of with questions. The beds were comfy, the house was right next to a grocery store and cafe (unfortunately we got there just a bit too early in the season for the lobster hut) and downtown Kennebunkport was less than a 10-min drive. It was really a perfect getaway, and we'd definitely consider staying here in the future.
We had a wonderful stay at the hydrangea house. The house has everything you need and looks exactly as shown in the picture. I would definitely stay there again for a future visit to Kennebunkport!

About the host
Hosted by Kevin
We are a family of 4 (plus Millie and Mabel our dogs) from CT. We enjoy travelling to many places around the world and New England. We are very attentive hosts and love to help our guests with recommendations to make their stay extra special!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Hydrangea House when vacationing there during the summer. The location of the house is perfect - within walking distance of restaurants, general store, art galleries, shops, and the beautiful pier with views of Goat Island.
What makes this property unique
The house is perfect for large families. Multiple areas for together time and a great "secret" bonus room upstairs for the kids. It has a screened in porch for having coffee in the AM and drinks in the PM! There is also a fenced in area for kids/pets right off the kitchen along with a fire pit and grill.
