Fully restored to its former glory, one of the original family homes of the renowned Seawards is now available to anyone who loves Kennebunkport. Seaward Cottage is walking distance to Dock Square and everything Kennebunkport has to offer.

This charming and historic New England cape features a large kitchen with eating island, elegant quartz counter tops, a large dining space, and living room with a stone fireplace on the main floors. There is also a full bath with walk in shower and washer/dryer. The second floor features 3 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen), and a full bath with walk-in shower. The third floor features a large sleeper bonus room with 1 queen and 2 twin beds, and room for more sleeping capacity ( listed as 4th bedroom).

The home has all-new kitchen appliances, full laundry, wifi, central heating and cooling, a covered front porch, a 3-season sun room for relaxing, reading, and a rear deck and large, private back yard for partying and barbecuing. The house sits back on top of a hill with a large driveway for plenty of parking. This is a family owned house since 1945 when the patriarch of the family, Raymond Seaward, returned home from WWII as a decorated war hero. The family recently renovated it with an American theme in honor of their grandfather.

This wonderful, historic family home has been enjoyed and cherished by the Seaward's for generations, and now it's available to anyone who loves Kennebunkport and wants to make memories with their family and friends. What's even better is you're in walking distance to town, bars, restaurants, shops, events, and the beautiful Kennebunk River, where you can watch the tide and boats come in and out.You are also a short 5 minute drive to both beaches. Awesome little get away spot

Great Family House

This house worked perfectly for my family. We were traveling to Kennebunkport with 9 adults and two small children. Beautiful fully stocked kitchen, two updated bathrooms, nice backyard with 2 fire pits! Everything we needed was in the house. Would highly recommend this home. Wonderful location within walking distance to town. Perfect!

Great Spot in Kennebunkport

We enjoyed our stay at Seward Cottage. The house is very close to Dock Square and we walked to the square almost everyday. Access to 95 was not far off so we were able to easily visit Portland and Freeport. The house was very clean and the owners made check in a breeze. We loved it.

Fantastic, Convenient & Comfortable Gem in Kennebunkport

This home is beautiful inside & out. Modern & stylish with a comfortable & authentic Maine vibe. Everything from the deck furniture, fixtures, sofas, and gathering spaces (living room, kitchen) were beautiful & comfortable. We had 5 adults here for a long weekend & everyone had plenty of personal space & we greatly enjoyed our time together. The house is easily accessible from the Portland airport & major highways. Our group was able to walk into town for dining & drinks & shopping. Great jumping off point for adventures on the Maine Coast (Ogunquit, Wells Beach). Host was outstanding -- helpful, flexible, responsive, friendly & put everything in place for us to have a wonderful weekend. We hope to come back for another visit. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Getaway House

We had an incredible experience staying at this beautifully maintained house in Kennebunkport, Maine. The beds were unbelievably comfortable – I even tried to find out where they got those super comfy mattresses! The distance to the charming town, with its array of shops and restaurants within walking distance, added to the overall convenience. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to a washer and dryer. The thoughtful inclusion of games for the kids made it a family-friendly haven. The cozy couch and recliners provided the perfect relaxation spots. Every aspect of the house was pristine, making our stay truly enjoyable. We loved it so much that we're already planning our return trip. We highly recommend this place for a comfortable and memorable stay in Kennebunkport!

OUR NEW GO-TO VACATION SPOT

I wanted to share our wonderful experience at this great house in Kennebunkport, Maine. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made our family's stay truly special. The cleanliness of the property was impressive, and the thoughtful gift they left for our celebration touched our hearts. The convenience of being within walking distance of the shops and restaurants added to the overall awesomeness of it. The house provided ample space for both adults and children, making it an ideal family-friendly choice. The recent updates were a nice touch, and my wife was genuinely pleased with my find. We've decided this place will be our go-to spot for our annual Maine getaway. A happy wife a happy life. You have got to check this place out, my wife told me to write that!
