Beyond the Sea is a stunning retreat with five bedrooms and four baths accommodating up to twelve. Find your calm amid shades of blue and beige on plush furnishings in this newly refinished interior space. Bedrooms are spacious and inviting while bathrooms are thoughtfully designed with clean lines and decorative finishes.

The expansive ground floor houses three beautifully decorated guest rooms, the first with a king-sized bed, the second features a queen-sized bed, and the third houses bunk beds accommodating four guests. Two of the bedrooms feature direct entry to the private pool, perfect for an evening swim.

The second floor features a gorgeous open-concept living/dining area with a fully appointed kitchen and the first of two balconies with outdoor seating. Cozy up on plush furnishings in the living room, at the breakfast bar, or the large dining table. There’s plenty of room for everyone in this lovely space! An additional bedroom with a full-sized bed are available. The washer and dryer are available for added convenience in the garage. The third floor is dedicated to the Master Suite with a king-sized bed, en suite bath, and a balcony overlooking the pool, while the fourth floor provides access to the private observation deck. Unwind after a day at the beach and catch breathtaking sunsets with friends and family over the Gulf of Mexico and the surrounding 30A community.

Hang out at the private pool or head over to South Spooky Lane public beach access a short walk away. Enjoy a quick bike ride or walk to Shunk Gulley’s, Pizza by the Sea, Goatfeathers, Local Catch, or The Perfect Pig offering up freshly prepared local cuisine. Explore the neighboring communities of Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton Beach, or Seaside for a fun-filled day on 30A!

Requests for pool heating must be submitted a week prior to arrival. Heating for pools is an additional $45 per day.

Parties, events, bachelor and bachelorette parties are strictly prohibited, and an adult chaperone must accompany guests under 25 throughout their stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden, and pets are unfortunately not welcome and subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Guests found in violation are subject to eviction with no refund.

House

The bunk room beds were not very stable. Called upon arrival and gentleman came to repair did the best he could as the holes for the screws were stripped. Also the house needs an ice maker as the refrigerator one is very small. The wood floors could use a better cleaning . The bottom of your feet were always black. Better directions on the televisions would help as well.

Great location. Bad communication. False add.

Loved the house and location despite the layout not being great and TON of stairs as we were in master on top floor but no big deal. Definitely had some cons. Not many with house itself besides filthy rug in master, broken pool chairs, ice maker made minimal ice for us causing us to have to by ice daily. We called first day about the ice maker and submitted a service request on app and heard NOTHING. Also the add and WHAT WE PAID FOR said “bikes included” and there were zero bikes on the property. We went back to the add and all of a sudden the add had changed and didn’t mention the bike. I have screenshots of original add that stated differently so we felt this was a shady move and this cost us $200 we hadn’t budgeted for in order to get bikes for everyone. On the last day, we had a very early morning flight and had to get out of the house quickly and I mistakenly left my backpack (money, keys and valuables inside) in kitchen and locked myself out so I immediately called the emergency line and they had no garage code so I was out of luck, but she insured me that the bag would be found and shipped to me. I assumed I’d hear back from Bailey at Scenic days that morning, but I didn’t get a call until 5 PM stating that the “house was combed twice and no bag was found”. I called back once and got no answer and over next 2 days my wife left multiple messages. We heard nothing. I got a call 2-3 days after home from UPS saying they had my bag. No idea how since zero word from ScStays

Great location, responsive agency

We visited this beautiful three flat on June 8 for the week. It was perfect for us. Very close to the beach, private driveway and easy access to the beach. The house is very clean and the pool is a good size for the area. We had an amazing stay and the hosts were very responsive to our one request. My only minor concerns were the lack of forks (family of 6 ended up eating dinner with spoons each night, despite running dishwasher every evening), grill was a bit -iffy with starting and not very clean, and the master bed is terribly uncomfortable. The kids said their beds were delightful.

Perfect vacation house!

We absolutely loved this vacation home! We were a group of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids aged 4yr-9yr) and it was perfect for us. There was plenty of space to spread out at night, or come together and hang out during the day. The house is a short, easy walk to the beach; and also to multiple ice cream places. The pool in the backyard was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon and hanging out in the evening. We prepared and ate most meals at the house and it had everything we needed. The house was very clean and even nicer than I was expecting from the pictures when we booked. You can't go wrong with this rental, it was great! I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Spring Break

Overall, a fantastic house in a great location with wonderful amenities. We used the house to its full capacity with a dozen people for a one week stay. So we pressure tested the house and overall it worked out great. Only things to comment on: The property management team sends a lot of texts to communicate and claim they will respond to your needs. We sent multiple texts and calls about a few things such as no bikes were provided although posted in the listing title (two bikes were placed next door at a vacant house yet we had no reason to believe they were ours) and one of the beds lacked support and the mattress and box springs fell to the ground once laid on until we were able to brace it with wood board found under the bed. Also, the portal link they send very early is the place for all check-in/check-out info and is also found on an app. The property management sends info the day of check in and with multiple parties involved it needs to be sent earlier. Lastly, there is a one week deadline to heat the pool. You need to abide by that because there are no exceptions. I understand and respect that. I would maybe alter that for a suggested price if people really want to use that. I would stay there again. However, the Scenic Stays team needs to support the owner just a bit more instead of sending robo texts and emails. Their house is fabulous.

Wonderful Stay

We’ve stayed at another home on this street the last few years, but decided to change it up this year - we’re very glad we did as this property was outstanding in every way. Very clean, well equipped, fantastic location, and a great pool area. Everything was exactly as advertised. We definitely plan to return!

Perfect Cozy

Perfect location on a private side street. An amazing roof top widow watch to have dinner every evening for a view to the ocean and sunset. The place has ample room for gathering in a generously spacious living room and dining room with open kitchen!

Hello, We booked this place for this current weekend and read on the listing that no pets are allowed. This house is COVERED in dog hair and my daughter is very allergic to dogs. It’s all over the couches, floors, common area. Was found in the master bed. I’m really disappointed in our experience as I have already had to take my child to urgent care once and we haven’t even finished one night here. We planned this trip with my entire family and now half of us may have to leave because of the issue with the dog hair. I would like for someone to contact us as soon as possible because I am appalled at the fact that this is even acceptable. --

Perfect Family House

This was our second stay at this property. We returned because it fit our needs perfectly for space, amenities, and easy beach access. Physically, just as nice as last year and well kept. Our only complaint was lack of response to our report that the pool lights were not working, The help line kept answering my calls and promising a technician, but no one ever showed.

Great Location!

Our family stayed at this property during the Thanksgiving holiday and really enjoyed being in Santa Rosa after previously spending time in Destin during other trips. The house is literally a bridge walk away from the beach and sits nestled on a small street without too much hustle and bustle. The only reason I deducted a star is because the property wasn't as newly updated as we hoped, although still very nice, but for the price we expected a more luxury experience. The grill could've been cleaner as we are a family who enjoys grilling and cooking and there were some maintenance that had to be tended to the property, but the staff responded immediately to all requests and sent maintenance to make the repairs. I just wished that would have all been done before we arrived. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

August 2020 Stay

The tale of the good, the bad and the ugly. Overall the house was very nice and the location to the beach, restaurants and shops was great. The house is laid out great with comfortable sleeping spaces, a great open kitchen and nice pool out back. (The good). The cleaning crew was mediocre at best. We arrived to a dirty kitchen. Stove top had not been cleaned well in a while and took a while to clean out the grime from the coffee maker before willing to make the first pot. Owner - I would strongly suggest you get a new cleaning crew. As well, the grill was horrendous- caked in layers of grease and the burners were completely rusted out. We had brought food to grill each night and were without a grill for several nights. To the owners credit, they did authorize a new grill to be installed but took several days for the rental service to deliver a new one. (The bad). Finally, renters beware House is close to neighbors and we had screaming kids next door - obnoxious all week.(The ugly).

First Visit

A couple of observations: 1). Fan on main level porch needs replacement. 2) Downstairs King Master had a broken box spring. 3). Upstairs Master needs a new mattress. Amenities were average. Grill needs attention. Neighborhood gate was broken and inoperable for several days. Overall great location and proximity to Shunk Gulley and the shops. Enjoyed our first visit to 30A.

Beyond the Sea is Beyond Amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of six (four adult children) had a wonderful week at Beyond the Sea. Each bedroom and bath is comfortable and inviting, but the master bedroom and bath are especially spectacular. The kitchen is spacious and nicely equipped, making it easy for meal prep and clean up to be a team sport. The pool and deck area is fantastic for those moments when you've had enough of the beach, and the beach is literally 200 footsteps from the front door. For those worried about social distancing, this beach area is not very crowded. It seems to be all single family homeowners and definitely NOT a Seaside-type party zone. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We had 7 adults total, and everyone had plenty of room for privacy, as well as ample family room to congregate and share meals. Beach is about 200 steps away from the front door. Super clean. Balconies everywhere with good seating. Quiet neighborhood. Pool was great. I don't know what else we could have asked for!

Great vacation!

We had 11 people ranging in ages from 10-75. Great, comfortable spaces for everyone-plenty of kitchen and family spaces. Great quick access to beach-very quiet area. We had a wonderful time!

Location was excellent - close enough to beach we didn't have to pack lunch. House was beautiful. Plenty of room for our party of 7 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children! Love Santa Rosa!
