Excellent stay in the heart of Tulum

Staying in Tulum is the best way to experience the area. Driving in and out is very complicated at times. This spot, we were able to leave our car parked most nights and walk to many amazing restaurants that were close. Being so close we worried about possible noise but it was very quiet at night. The small restaurant onsite served great breakfasts and lunch. Sitting on the private beach area allowed us sun options or shade options most anytime of the day. The staff kept the beach very clean and cleaned our home meticulously every day at optimum times of the day for us. All in all it was a tremendous value with a relaxing stay right in the heart of Tulum Beach.

Our fantastic stay

We had an incredible stay at Zorba. I had some of my best sleeps. Must have been the sound of the waves lulling me into a deep slumber or the good bedding or the fresh breeze. Or maybe stargazing before bed? We also enjoyed the chef services by Irma. She made a feast of local vegetables and fish; we ate at an outdoor table with the sea at our side. Nothing like coming in from a swim to enjoy a nice cold glass of white wine paired with perfectly prepared food. We also ate at Arca, Nu, La Zebra, The Real Coconut and Charley's Vegan Tacos - all of which are super close and very good. As much as going out to eat is one of my favourite things to do in Tulum, having our own kitchen was a must (it gave chef Irma a place to cook. It gave us a place to make tea and coffee to sip at the beach as the sun came up or a little later beside the pool. We also enjoyed having a place to slice up fresh fruit and dish up granola and yogurt or fresh pastries, or to make a guacamole to enjoy with a late afternoon margarita (there is a blender and citrus juicer!) . The shared rooftop is out of this world! A great place to enjoy sunrise, sunset and do some yoga or enjoy cocktails. Snow, Guy, and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and helpful whenever we wanted a suggestion. We were cared for and had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. I look forward to returning soon!

I have been coming to Tulum for the past 18 years. My two kids, daughter 18 and son 15, have been locals on this beach for years. We split our time between British Columbia Canada and Tulum. The beaches and restaurants in the Tulum area are world class. As the area grows in popularity our properties maintain the peaceful and connected vibe we love.

Tulum is an incredible place to explore and enjoy at any age in life from the youngest travellers to grandparents. If you like the sand and sea, this is the place to be.

This Villa is on our Zorba Tulum property with a collection of Villas and abundance of amenities. The property is gated from the road and open to the sea. The beachfront and full property are exclusive to guests only, including the onsite taco and breakfast bar.

What makes this property unique

We have two properties on Tulum beach and a total of 10 beautiful beach homes with housekeeping and a lovely staff. When you stay with us you are well cared for and directly on the beach. A house at Zorba Beach Homes or Mahayana Beach homes is the best way to experience Tulum. Enjoy more space, tranquility, and the luxury of staying right on the beach. We also strive to minimize our impact on the area and preserve the natural beauty.
