Diephuys 14A is a completely renovated (2017) holiday home located in a very residential area in the heart of the historic center of Bruges, Unesco world heritage city. The canals with swans and boats, the picturesque market square and the Burg, the museums (Groeninge, Belfort, Chocolate museum, ...), tasty restaurants, bistros and cozy coffee bars are all within walking distance. The hip boutiques and nice interior shops that Bruges is rich, often located in lesser known, smaller side streets you have found from the Diephuys 14A!

The house is a typical Bruges house with stepped gable (hence the name!) and with its red façade immediately falls into the streetscape. The house has been renovated with respect for the authentic elements present and was furnished with an eye for detail on the one hand and with attention to contemporary comfort and luxury on the other.
Diephuys14A with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms comfortably accommodates 8 people (possibly with 2 babies); The whole house is always at the disposal of the guests. Besides Diephuys 14a, Diephuys 14B with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is suitable for 6 persons. Both self-catering homes can also be rented together for larger families or groups of friends. The house is not allowed to smoke and pets are not allowed. Free WIFI. Paying parking facilities in the street (max 4 hours) or in nearby underground car parks.

Holiday apartment Diephuys 14A
Once you open the front door and leave the typical Bruges cobblestone street behind you, you end up in an oasis of peace. Through the entrance hall - which is common to both houses - you end up in the private part of the Diephuys 14A holiday home.
Here you will first find a small sas with the stairs to the upper floors, a cloakroom and a separate toilet. From here you also reach the living space of the house. Decorated in warm shades of green & brown and renovated with characterful materials such as Moroccan zelliges and oak tresses, this room invites to cozy moments with family and friends. Enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner prepared or warmed up in the stylish, practical open kitchen (with dishwasher, oven, hob, coffee maker, ...). Napaing about a day full of discoveries with a good glass of wine in the seating area where there is also digital TV.

Via the stairs you reach the first floor where there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with double sink and rain shower and a separate toilet. The bedroom located at the front of the house, also called the Blue Room, is decorated in warm tones blue and gold with some colorful accents that come back in pillows and wall art. This room - suitable for 2 persons - is equipped with a super king size box spring bed with high quality mattress and real duvets & pillows for a peaceful night's rest after a day of strolling around in Bruges!
In the bedroom at the rear of the house there are 2 single box spring beds (which can be brought together to a double bed). Here there is also room to add a cot that is available on request, as well as high chairs. This room is more airy with some geometrical patterns in green and blue that give character to this room;

Via an intermediate staircase you then reach the attic floor of the house where you will find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with double sink, shower and toilet. The attic bedroom located at the front of the house invites to a blissful night through the combination of the light color pallet, the warm natural materials used for decoration and of course the super king size box spring bed suitable for 2. A baby cot can also be placed in this room upon request.
The bedroom located at the rear of the attic, also called the Green Room, finally offers 2 single beds to 2 guests; The dark shades of green used on the wall and in the linen, give this room a cozy, intimate atmosphere.
