Great location

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting Bruges for a few days. The location of the house is very convenient and the host very easy to communicate with. We would recommend this accommodation without reservation.

Amazing stay in the heart of Bruges

We visited Bruges for a weekend with friends and family. The house is in an amazing location, close to restaurants, patisseries and shops. The house is fully equipped, beds are super comfortable. The host is very accommodating and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location for Family

Family of 5 stayed two nights and this was a great location for wandering. No car needed. Beware the steps as they are painted and can be slippery otherwise it was a great location. Compact but ample room for all of us.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay in a beautiful home in Bruges. We were close to the centre in a peaceful residential area surrounded by the canals and historic sites of the city. Would love to go back!!

Fantastic location on quiet street. Close to canals and main square. Very clean and thoughtful arrival gifts. Kitchen a little tight for 6 people. Highly recommend staying here and plan to come back!

Great location to explore the city

Our family really enjoyed Els property. It was on a quiet street and within an easy walk to all of the sites. We are family of 4 with teens, so navigating the steep steps inside the flat was fine for us. Would be hard for families with mobility issues. Overall, a great place

Great home

This flat was fantastic. Well maintained and clean. Elegant design inside. The host was very responsive and helpful. The location is great--only a few blocks from the center of town's shopping and restaurants. Very steep and narrow stairs inside, which weren't a problem for us, but just a "heads-up". Highly recommend!

Nice Property - A little tight

Overall a nice property but the layout is a little tight, especially in the downstairs. Good for small families but would be difficult to fit a group of six comfortably I think.

Perfect retreat

The house is ideally located on a quiet residential street in the historic centre of Bruges but close to all of the city's charms. Some wonderful restaurants with a few minutes walk too. The house itself lends itself well to a family stay, with a fun bedroom for the kids on the top floor. Host was responsive, helpful, and kind, even leaving a gift and hand written note on arrival! We drove in and parked in a garage not too far away but were able to swing by to drop off/pick up luggage.

Bruges is such a wonderful place to visit and this apartment makes the stay even more wonderful.

Bruges is such a fairy tale place to visit. Wonderful pace and the architecture, the stores, the streets, the food and the chocolate make Bruges a really family friendly city to visit anytime of the year. The apartment is perfectly located and we were welcomed with a sweet welcome gift from our host. The apartment is very comfortable. The bedding, sheets and pillows were so comfortable. It is great for any family (up to six), but everyone needs to be able to climb stairs. I would still highly recommend this apartment and the owner is wonderful to work with. We will stay there again when we come back to Bruges. We cannot wait!!!

Excellent Location & Very Clean

Our family of four (two adults and two children, ages 6 and 10) had a wonderful stay over Easter weekend at Els’ home in Bruges. The location is central to all of the sights in Bruges, which was great. Her three-story home is tidy and comfortable, with a clean bathroom/showers and kitchen. We were welcomed with chocolates and biscuits for the children, as well as bottles of water and wine for the adults, which were such a lovely touch! As others have mentioned, the stairs are quite narrow and should be avoided for people with mobility issues. It was a bit chilly when we visited and the heat from the radiators wasn’t sufficient for our needs. Aside from this, the home was perfect for our visit to Bruges!

Wonderful time

We loved our stay in Bruges with Els. It was the perfect place for us and had more than enough room for four adults. The beds were more than comfortable and the kitchen was a great spot to chat and play games. If you’re traveling with someone who is disabled or has difficulty with stairs, then I’d recommend looking elsewhere—the bedrooms are on the upper levels and the staircases are narrow. We didn’t have much of an issue ourselves and would definitely book a stay there again.

The Heart of Bruges

We were very pleased with the apartment and convenient location. Els communicated and couldn’t have been more responsive. As is typical of homes in Bruges, there are lots of steps. Would not recommend for someone who cannot go up stairs. That was not a problem for our family. We highly recommend this beautiful apartment!

Wohl fühlen in der Altstadt!

Ein sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtetes, sehr sauberes und charmantes Haus...sehr nah an der Gracht und mitten in der Altstadt. Den Kindern und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.
