The El Porto studio is located on Highland Ave just two short blocks up from El Porto beach in north Manhattan, one of the best surfing beaches in the South Bay. From the studio, you can walk to the ocean, restaurants, bars, local entertainment and the Strand. It is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. You will love staying here because of the vibrant neighborhood, proximity to the beach and easy access to LAX. Business License #27103826

This quaint studio will be your new home away from home. It features a pull down Murphy bed, comfortable sofa, 50" smart TV and original design elements from the 1930s. Two bicycles and two beach chairs are available for use in the garage. Free parking is available 24/7 in the brick alcove directly in front of the studio. The location is very convenient for overnight guests who want to stay at the beach yet need quick access to LAX. Please note that it is located on a busy street, so there is some ambient traffic noise. A 14% transient occupancy tax is payable to the City and is listed as a separate line item.

We loved our stay at this Manhattan Beach studio, especially being just two blocks away from the sand and surf. The owner was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond by stocking the kitchen with many thoughtful necessities that made our trip much easier. While the parking is extremely tight, the host was very upfront about this in the listing so we knew exactly what to expect. It was a wonderful experience overall, and the location perfectly captured everything we love about the area. We would definitely recommend this cozy spot to anyone looking for a seamless beach getaway!

Amazing beach spot.

The place was comfortable, clean, cute. It was so nice being such a short walk from the beach and we enjoyed having the bikes to explore to stand. John was attentive and responsive to any questions we had. The only downside was the traffic noise that was noted in the listing. If you bring ear plugs and use white noise it was manageable. Would stay here again.

This place is AMAZING! The thoughtfulness that was put into every inch of this studio made this the best place I have ever had the opportunity of staying! Manhattan Beach itself is such a vibey area. The views are incredible, the beach community there is so welcoming, the night life is bumping (along the pier) and the food (within walking distance) is varied and impeccable! The studio was so freaking cute! John left us with a fully stocked fridge and just about everything you might need at home! There were so many moments where I realized I forgot something (like toothpaste or a bottle opener) and without fail, John had foreseen this and had it available in the studio! He was communicative and answered any of my messages promptly! If I could have stayed here forever, I would!!

Great Little Getaway Spot

We were in town to watch the pro beach volleyball tournament at the Manhattan Beach pier and this place was a perfect spot for us. So close to the beach! We used the bikes provided to adventure all over including the grocery store, coffee runs, and our trips to and from the tournament. My boyfriend also used the boogie board provided and had a blast in the water. The kitchen was also was put to great use! John was so so so sweet in 1. Letting us check in early (our flight arrived earlier than expected) and 2. Providing some goodies for us- fun beverages, snacks, icecream, sunscreen, etc. He really went above and beyond as a host. As mentioned in the post, the spot is on a busy street, so we do recommend ear plugs for any sensitive sleepers. Overall, we had a great time and hope to be back soon.

Perfect location

We were able to either walk or ride the bikes provided to where we needed to go in the South Bay. Owner was very responsive and the place is perfect for two. Small but clean and we appreciated the items left for us in the fridge so we didn't have to shop right away. would love to stay here again!

Little Gem in Manhattan Beach

We absolutely loved our stay at this 1930's-style bungalow just two short blocks from the beach. It is perfect for a couple (or individual) wanting close access to the Strand. The owner has taken great care to provide everything you could want for a beach getaway! Bicycles, boogie board, beach towels. We had a late arrival and we were delighted to find the little kitchen already stocked with everything we needed for breakfast. There were adult beverages we enjoyed the next day after a long bike ride along the beach. The view of the ocean from the front window provided us a show of stunning sunsets, and there is a surfboard rack over the murphy bed! With a mini-mart right across the street and restaurants within walking distance, we hardly needed our rental car. The owner was very helpful and accommodating; making sure we had everything we needed. The amenities packed into this tiny rental make it a wonderful getaway, and we hope to return for a longer visit next time.
