Affordable Hermosa Beach 2BR, 450ft from Sand, 2 blocks to Pier.

Located just 450ft from the Strand boardwalk, the sandy beach, and only two blocks from the Hermosa Pier makes this property the perfect location for enjoying all that Hermosa Beach has to offer. This is a BASEMENT unit that locks off from the main house and has its own private entrance. The unit has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a Queen size bed. The other bedroom has a full sized bed. There is also a living room area that can be used as an office for remote working. This unit has two full bathrooms, and another 1/2 bathroom off of the living room. The kitchen is very well stocked. There is a stove top burner and a counter Breville convection oven for baking and toasting. There is NO VIEW from this unit. This rental is all about LOCATION, as it is extremely close to the beach, the HB Pier, and The Strand boardwalk. This basement unit has stairs, and may not be ideal for guests that have difficulty with stairs. You will have access to the shared rooftop deck, which has ocean and city views, along with outdoor furniture and large lounging areas to enjoy the sunshine, and the beautiful sunsets. The garage is also a shared space with the main house, and is loaded with beach toys that guests can use whenever they want. Bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, and surf boards are all kept in the garage for your enjoyment. A washer and dryer are also located in the shared garage, and available for you to use. This rental unit can park ONE car in the driveway. There are so many activities scheduled in Hermosa Beach, and depending on the time of your visit, you may enjoy concerts on the beach, volleyball or surf tournaments, local wildlife, and tons of shopping and fine or casual dining! Please check our rates before inquiring as they change seasonally. Ask about the long term rental discount that is available for rentals of three months or longer. There is also the option of renting the upper unit, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with separate kitchen when availability allows, which will provide you with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, plus two parking spots in the driveway. #444807. Really enjoyed staying at this property. Kirk was super responsive, and everything was as described. This is a great value for an excellent location in Hermosa. Property has everything you need: multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen, beach toys, laundry, bicycles, multiple TVs with Roku, etc. I'm sure I will look for this location every time now when I visit! Thanks again for a great stay!

For a garden-level apartment, it would be helpful to know how and where to open windows for ventiliation. We found them.Also, a guide to what TV channels the system has access to, and how to access it, would be helpful.We were very happy overall, and the garage full of beach toys was a huges plus. (Adding a couple of beach-tennis racquets would be great.)

Immaculately clean, great location, all amenities we needed

We rented this place for a month while we remodel our house, and we really enjoyed our stay. The owners were always so accommodating to all of our needs, and it was a 2 minute walk to the beach, with all the "beach toys" available to us so we were to bike, surf, etc and make the most of it! Easy, quick walk to many restaurants, shops, and quiet even though close to all this.

Steps from the Strand

The location is just the best. So close to everything, shops, restaurants, beach. The owner met us when we arrived and gave a short tour. Very personable and friendly. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Visiting hermosa Beach

I visited from Guatemala along with my friend Anabelle from Guatemala also. Her boy friend visited for a few days. It is a wonderful location most of all. The owner is always ready to give you a hand and answer questions. There are a lot of stairs so a friend with special needs that wanted to visit me was not able to join but it was superb.

Excellent Location and Value

Very clean and generously stocked with supplies and linens. The location is outstanding for easy beach and Pier Ave access (restaurants, shops). The owners are super friendly and responsive. Checking in and out were a breeze. It’s difficult to find such an affordable place with this much space and amenities so close to the beach! We definitely hope to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Kirk’s place in Hermosa. We loved using the bikes, surfboards, waveboards, and the beach chairs provided by Kirk. The rooftop terrace was a real highlight of the apartment. Although the unit is downstairs and there are stairs in the house, it didn’t bother us as an active family. Communication with Kirk was excellent—he even offered us surfing tips, but unfortunately our busy LA-schedule didn’t allow for it. The location is fantastic, and out of our four-week US trip, staying with Kirk was an absolute highlight—a vacation within our vacation. We’d love to come back!

Great covid getaway by the beach!

Property is ideally situation walking distance to the beach and to the hermosa pier, which has tons of options (in non-lockdown times) for dining and drinks. The unit is very spacious with 2 BR's, 3 bathrooms and a daybed in the living room. Shared rooftop balcony with plenty of seating and some ocean views is key as the downstairs unit does not get much natural light. Great value for the price!

Excellent Location- Good Communication

My Family and I stayed here while we were renovating our house in a neighboring city. Location was excellent, unit was comfortable and clean. We did have a couple unforeseen issues come up during our stay related to the plumbing and electronic locks (low battery), communication was immediate and resolutions to these issues were mitigated well. Having a host that is reachable at almost any hour of the day is invaluable and that is what you get staying here.

Great place in a great beach community. Perfect location! Everything you'd need for a fun beach vacation. Walk out your door and walk right to the beach. A few blocks from Pier Avenue with all the shops and restaurants. All the fun beach gear you need. The bikes were great to ride down the Strand. There's a nice rooftop hangout. Everything was perfect. Being in the basement was not a problem. Warm, quiet, secluded. The absence of natural light only motivated us to get outside as often as possible, which we should be doing anyhow.

The Best!

We had an extended stay here for 1.5 months. Kirk was an amazing host! So thoughtful, nice, kind, and the place was amazing! It had everything you could need and then some. Kirk was easy to communicate with during our stay, and everything could not have gone better. Perfect location, spotless, and who couldn’t love being that close to the beach? A Great spot!

This was a great spot to stay. I was a guest here for nearly 6 weeks. The place was clean and quiet. Walking distance from anywhere you want to be. Only a few yards from the beach, and Hermosa Pier. I enjoyed my stay so much that I actually extended for a few weeks longer than I had originally booked. I highly recommend this property and hope I will have the opportunity to be a guest here again.
