For the most part, I disagree with this guest's review. The issues that they actually discussed with me were the DVD player and the incorrect Spectrum phone number and I agree with those points. The other issues could have been addressed on a timely basis if they had contacted the cleaning service, per my check-in instructions, during the first day after check-in to have them taken care of. The DVD player was missing an HDI cable which is probably why it wouldn't work. We weren't aware that the cable was missing and were not made aware of this issue by any guests prior to this guest. I tried to find vendors in the area that could check on the DVD player to solve the issue but it is still difficult, due to Covid, to get a repair person who is available on short notice. Also, we did not list a DVD player on the rental site as an available amenity. The Spectrum phone number listed on the check-in sheet was my error. I attempted to contact Spectrum, with my guest also on the phone shortly after learning of this problem and received the same message about it being the wrong number. I subsequently determined the correct number for Spectrum to provide to my current guest and future guests and immediately updated my check-in information with the correct number. This guest did not report any issues with the sink, shower, drains, furniture or shower curtains to me so I couldn't address those types of issues for them, if they were issues, during their stay. My check-in instructions specifically state that if the guest notices any issues with the cleaning of the unit, within 24 hours of their arrival, they should contact the cleaning company directly (cleaning company name and phone number are provided in the instructions) and they will address the problem immediately. If these were issues, they could have been corrected quickly. Related to the drains, we had our local handyman pour drain opener down all drains approximately a week prior to this guest's stay so the drains should not have been an issue. The cleaning company has been contacted to ensure that the shower curtains are clean. I am the owner of this unit and I don't " just pretend " to care about fixing reported problems as this guest has stated. I do care about my guests and I take complaints seriously and get them fixed as soon as possible, when I am made aware of them. My ratings on this unit from most of my previous guests have been four to five star and that is our goal.

Our guests did not mention the situation with the cleaning anytime during their stay. If we had known there was a problem, we would have contacted the cleaning service immediately to have the situation taken care of. Prior to our guest's check in, we had requested the cleaning service perform a thorough cleaning of the floor as well as dusting and it appears that may not have occurred. I will be discussing that issue with the cleaning service directly. We always try to provide our guests with a clean and enjoyable experience when they rent our condo and unfortunately we weren't aware of this particular situation until after the fact.

David, The fitness club was an oversight on my part. I thought Fiddler's Cove BOD had found a replacement fitness center for the one which previously was offering the reciprocal fitness use in exchange for using the tennis courts at Fiddler's Cove. I have removed that from my property's description so as not to be misleading. I apologize for that oversight. A pest control company sprays all units at Fiddler's Cove on a monthly basis which is probably pretty standard for all locations on the island due to the damper/tropical like conditions found on islands. Our previous guests had not reported seeing any bugs in our condo. The pest control service that arrived during your stay was just performing the regularly scheduled re-spraying of the units at Fiddler"s Cove. Thank you for your feedback. Terry
