Welcome home to our Cerulean Way 3 bedroom, 2 bath Civano semi-custom designer home . Our home is located in the Civano One Neighborhood and within a short walk to the Civano Nursery, Community Pool, and other local shops and services.

Our home is completely furnished including flat screen SMART TV s in each bedroom and Great Room; upgraded kitchen with Stainless Steel gas stove and microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, granite kitchen counter tops; high-speed internet, cable TV, upgraded linens, and ceiling fans in each bedroom and Great Room.
The home has a unique Southwest ambiance in both the furniture and artwork. As you enter the home, you will pass through a gallery hallway where we highlight Southwestern Artists. The living room is an eclectic mix of unique Tucson treasures in both furniture and artwork. The hand-made dining room table was crafted in Tucson and has a scalloped-edge cut glass top - simply beautiful and very Southwest! All the artwork has significance to Tucson and the Southwest. We have added a brief description to the artwork to acquaint you with the artist.


The bedrooms are adorned with upgraded linens, and hand-picked artwork and furniture. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a SMART flat screen TV.

There 's an abundance of outdoor living areas including a front courtyard, covered back patio and dining area. The backyard nestles up to a natural desert pathway that meanders through the Civano Neighborhood.

The home is FRAGRANCE FREE which means that we only use products that are free of dyes and fragrance. We provide all fragrance free cleaning supplies, bath and paper products.

We are located in the extremely desirable Civano Community that offers many amenities including: 2 Swimming Pools (solar heated), Walking/Biking Paths,Tennis/Pickle Board Courts, Soccer Field, and Basketball Courts. The home is located minutes away from the Saguaro National Park, Davis Montham AFB, International Wildlife Museum, Pima Air Museum, and Kartchner Caverns State Park. We are a 5-minute drive to restaurants, grocery shopping and all conveniences. Come and enjoy the Civano Experience!

Comfortable Home Close to Saguaro NP East

We enjoyed our three-week stay in this comfortable house in the quiet Civano neighborhood on the southeast side of Tucson. For hikers, it's about a 10-minute drive to Saguaro NP East. It's also about 10-min drive to grocery stores. We found the full-sized kitchen to be well-stocked. We'd not hesitate to stay in this beautiful house again and to recommend it to friends and family. Finally, thanks to our cordial and friendly hosts Shelly and Andy.

Beautiful home and neighborhood

This was our second stay in a home in Civano with these owners. Everything was beautiful—from the decorating to the landscaping. Super clean home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook entire meals (including an outdoor grill). Will go back for a 3rd visit for sure!

A beautiful home in an ideal location

The home was exactly as pictured, only better. It was so nice to have a well stocked kitchen, with spices etc. The back yard water feature is a bird magnet. The neighborhood is a perfect location for local hiking excursions, day trips to Bisbee or west of Tucson, and easy access to downtown Tucson. We loved being able to start and end the day with walks right out of the back gate. We were traveling with our 16 and 22 year old daughters and they loved it too.

Cirvano 3-bedroom house

Property was clean and very nicely decorated. Outdoor area VERY nice. There are 3 bedrooms; the master suite is very spacious and guest bedrooms are medium and small. The occupants were my two adult children, each with a spouse and one small grandchild. The space was very adequate for the occupants but definitely no room for more than six, as advertised. Loved the time there; Shelley & Andy are very gracious hosts with great attention to detail.

Easiest stay ever in a super clean vacation rental

We have stayed in two of Shelly and Andy's rentals over the past year, spending several months in this Cerulean Way home while house hunting. Their rentals are by far the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in on our travels across the country. Shelly and Andy approach their vacation rentals in a far more professional manner than many hosts do, and it pays tremendous dividends for guests/renters. The homes are well appointed, filled with all sorts of details that help make a stay easier and more pleasant. Their professionalism also is reflected in the dreaded "list" that smacks guests in the face upon arrival in most vacation rentals. (You know the list - you've paid a cleaning fee but must practically clean the whole place yourself before leaving - and all that while trying to get on the road!) There is indeed a list from Shelly and Andy, but it is far more sensible, much shorter and doable than those we encounter in other vacation rentals. It also helps TREMENDOUSLY that two of their properties are cleaned and maintained with fragrance free products! This has made a huge difference for us and we are deeply grateful that such rentals now exist. The only problem is that we are now thoroughly spoiled and it will be difficult to match this experience when we travel elsewhere next year. Travel well and safely, and we hope you enjoy Tucson! An ongoing great stay

Shelly and Andy continue to outdo themselves (we have been here three months now). They are the only hosts we have encountered who approach their VRBO rentals as hospitality professionals. And they have a remarkable gift for hospitality, to boot! They use fragrance free cleaning and laundry products when cleaning and preparing between guests. Additionally, guests are met with the necessities for breakfast and snacks so there doesn't need to be any running around after a long day of travel. Shelly and Andy have made a difficult move much, much easier with their dedication to guest wellness and comfort. These folks set the standard!

Andy and Shelly have lived in Arizona for over 20 years. We raised two children in Phoenix who attended Arizona State University. We moved to Civano in 2010 to enjoy a quieter lifestyle. Andy is an Engineer for a local firm and Shelly works remotely from home for a fresh Potato Grower & Shipper. We live in Civano, and the neighborhood is our point of refuge each day.

We launched our first Civano Southwest Charmer VRBO #818011 in 2016 and we enjoyed the experience so much that launched our second VRBO home in 2017 #1050433 Southwest Charmer with Awesome Views. The Cerulean Home will be our third VRBO home.
We have enjoyed hosting our guests from all over the United States and sharing our Civano experience with them. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and make your Tucson visit the best ever!

Why they chose this property

When the Cerulean Way Home came up for sale in December of 2018, I knew I had to purchase the property and add it to our VRBO family of homes. I have driven by this home for 10 years and the vibrant coral colors and the vintage wood doors leading to the private courtyard was so inviting. I was pleasantly surprised when I first toured the home: polished concrete floors, soaring ceilings, flagstone pathways, upgraded kitchen and walking path access from the back yard were all great features that our guests would find enjoyable. The home's previous owner was an artist, so I kept to the theme and added a touch of funky southwest with the sophistication of local Southwest art. We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do.
