Nice house Good location

House was very nice. This was our second time staying here. Good location in country club neighborhood. Communication with David was great. Back patio was very relaxing. Would stay here again or any other place David may have.

We have been traveling extensively for the last 30 years and this is one of our favorite places. Perfectly located in a great neighborhood, spacious, and airy and the backyard patio was perfect. We loved it so much that we booked it for six weeks next year already. It is close to the Mission Lakes Country Club with a pool and restaurant and with a quick easy ride into iconic Palm Springs. David was a perfect host and we highly recommend his home.

Extremely dissatisfied

Upon entering the property notice very old dark stains on the Living room carpet and the two Kitchen counter barstools I literally had to find pillowcases to cover both barstools in the master bedroom the Carpet was covered in old dark stains the master bedroom chair was torn up there were black scuff marks on the white painted walls throughout the house the ceiling AC vents were thick and caked with dust all of the TVs were very difficult to operate the living room TV would shut off constantly and we had to change channels manually the WIFI the DVD was inoperable didn’t work the house was literally infested with small roaches, fleas and flies in all the rooms of the house all the appliances from the kitchen to the washroom were very old the third bedroom just before the master bedroom had 3 yellow crusted stains on the blue comforter covering the bed we had to pull it off and place it in the old greasy wooden hamper located in the washroom the garaged was littered with old trash all around the pool table the white floor boards in the bathrooms were stained with yellow stains we were forced to finally contact Host David to not only ask for instructions but to also verbalize our frustrations and his comment back to us was quote on quote “Give me a break” and he told us the house has NOT been update in years so at this point my family and I made due the best that we could and tried to stay at the swimming pool as long as we could tolerating the 106degree heat if it was all possible I would want at least 1/2 of my money back!!

Holiday weekend getaway

We were trying to check in after 4 PM but the cleaning ladies weren't done cleaning the property, we came back at 6 PM & they weren't quite done yet. We went ahead & unloaded our stuff to the rooms that were already clean while the cleaning ladies were finishing up as we were very tired from our long drive. The comforter in one of the rooms had a huge tear on the underside of it, I ended up washing one that was in the closet for us to use. One of the beds was broken apparently by the prior renters & the owner fixed it the next day. The patio set's chair pads are all ripped & dirty & you can't sit on them. It would have been nice to spend evenings there with my family & just have talks & bond as a family. Everytime we turn on the TVs they keep buffering all the time. It was frustrating because I like to watch the news when I try to sit & relax on our bed. The owner was easy to communicate with, the air conditioner works very well, the house was roomy & we were glad pets are allowed as my son's family took their little puppy with them. Their puppy is house trained & is quiet. My grandkids enjoyed the pool even as late as 9 PM. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay as the property is about 10 minutes to downtown Palm Springs & to the aerial tramway. It was 35 minutes to Joshua tree national park which we visited. I would recommend this property.

Nice getaway in Desert hot springs

Well maintained home as described. Had a good stay. Golf was closed to visitors probably due to covid. Plenty of space for a large family, nice comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and pool table. Friendly owner. Overall very good experience.

Peaceful vacation spot

Pros: communication with owner, size of house/rooms, comfortable beds, peaceful backyard/patio, big/nice community pool with great food Cons: not as clean as hoping but just cleaned a bit when we first arrived and the rest of the trip was fine, have to drive to the pool, smart TVs didn’t work the whole time. Overall was a pleasant stay and would recommend for large parties.

Smart TVs worked fine for other guests and are currently working, as I am testing them now. If you didn’t know how to operate them, you could ask. Food in the refrigerator was not trash, but OUR food we left there for guests to use, or leave it there for us when we go back. There was total lack of communication with these guests unfortunately
