The chalets were a great weekend getaway from Denver with quick access to Monarch Mountain and a quaint, nice cabin for our group to spend the weekend at.

We are so happy the chalets exceeded your expectations! This area has so many winter and summer activities to enjoy, we are happy to hear you will return for more Salida adventures. Thanks for spreading the good word and thanks for being such lovely guests.
The creekside chalets were a fantastic place to spend a weekend! They were kind, communicative, and easy to contact when we had questions. Our 18 month old kid had a blast, and we appreciated the outside play areas on the property. Checkout was easy and everything was very clear and well marked. I recommend without reservations!

We are so happy you and your family had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at the chalets. We are glad your little one had fun on the play structures around the property, the fresh air is good for the whole family. We appreciate you spreading the good word about the chalets and we hope to be a place for your family to create a lot of cherished memories together.
Beautiful and Cozy Creekside Cabin! How thoughtful your conveniences! Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dish and hand soap and even dish towels as well as a generous supply of fluffy bath towels. A clothes drying line in the shower for after-use of our very own hot tub! High quality pots and pans! Soft and luxurious mattresses even on the pullouts (that ALONE is worth returning!) We visited the area for skiing at Monarch and have never had the pleasure of being this close before (about 9 miles?). What a jewel of a location! We look so forward to returning again to ski but also to try out the cabin in a different season. So many possibilities!!!

Hi Eve, thank you so much for your kind words, we're thrilled that you had such a wonderful stay! We continue to strive to make every stay special for our guests and have recently replaced all of our hot tubs. With Monarch mountain being so close, we encourage our visitors to take full advantage of our hometown mountain. If you choose to visit during a different season, downtown Salida has many things to offer such as galleries, shopping, dining, fishing, and river rafting. We hope to host you again soon, thank you again!
Host was great and gave us all the information we needed ahead and close out. Loved that we could take our dog and they accommodated her! Hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. Clean and comfortable bed! Wish they had paper plates, bowls, basic seasonings like salt pepper and sugar but all in all it was wonderful!

Thanks so much for staying with us at Creekside Chalets! We're so glad you enjoyed the hot tub and your fur baby could join! We appreciate you following the departure responsibilities, and hope that you will come visit again very soon!
A lovely stay at Mt Antero Creekside Chalet. The cabin was clean and well stocked for a weekend get-away. The Aspen groves and creek made the setting. The cabins are a comfortable distance apart and although they are right off Highway 50 the noise of the flowing creek gave a since of being in the woods. There were some holes in a few of the screens but thankfully there were plenty of windows and some were opened to let in the amazing mountain air. We explored Salida, Monarch Pass and had a beautiful hike up county rd 240. Very enjoyable weekend.

Beautiful setting in the woods
The cabin was very clean, looked freshly remodeled and very cozy. Star gazing in the hot tub at night, and private. Although there were other cabins there it appeared not many were booked and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Would definitely recommend and will stay at the Mt Antero cabin again.

We are very excited to be the new owners of this incredible property! We have been exploring the Arkansas Valley for a combined 35 years and finally made Salida our home in 2014. From the moment we walked on the property, it was love at first sight. The beautiful groves of aspen trees and the vibrant creek running through the resort seem to perfectly capture the best of the Arkansas Valley. The chalets have a unique layout that creates an ideal atmosphere for socializing, relaxing, and enjoying the dynamic mountain energy of the property.
We both said, “This is my kind of place, I don’t ever want to leave!” It’s like a postcard. Our shared vision for owning and operating a resort took root. We are committed to creating a resort that centers around the guest experience and allows people to relax, rejuvenate & enjoy this beautiful valley. We are both very passionate about the great outdoors and are skiing, mountain biking, and whitewater enthusiasts. It is a dream come true to own a property that allows us to share this remarkable place with others. We hope you come stay with us and enjoy the chalets with your family and friends!
