Best ocean views in Solana Beach. Nice breeze and blue skies will make any vacation perfect! Two Bedroom, Two bath Condo located in the heart of Solana Beach close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. This complex features a pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. Two dedicated parking spaces, club house and an elevator.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
*There is no AC in this unit. Being located along the coast brings cooler temperatures and a coastal breeze.
*Community Beach Access is closed due to unstable cliffs. Nearest beach access from Surfsong is Fletcher Cove approx .2 miles & 5 min walk
*For work from home we always recommend having a hot spot backup as we can't control service interruptions & outages.
*Surfsong has an elevator from the parking garage to your unit floor. If for any reason the elevators are out of service, stairs must be taken.
*This property is in a condo complex with neighbors all around. We don't monitor construction or noise from neighbors and this should be taken into consideration when booking.

Surf9 Solana Beach January and February

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting a condo in SurfSong for almost 10 years each January to get away from the Canadian Winter. We have stayed in Surf9 now twice and have found it a very nice unit and in a great location. Unfortunately this year, they were working on beach restoration and the electrical and plumbing systems in the building were a challenge at times. Having said this, the owner did give us a discount for the inconvenience which was appreciated. We understand that they did not have any control over the beach restoration but it was like renting a condo on the side of I-5, with the bright lights and noise (usually in the middle of the night). We have already booked a different unit (Surf9 isn’t available) in this building for next year.

Good for one couple

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were two couples for a month and although the property management was fantastic, the second bedroom didn’t meet expectations. There is no dresser to put your clothes and having your clothes on the floor in your open suitcase for a month really sucked. There was not enough room to move around with suitcases out. The closet was full of cleaning devices and beach toys so that is not usable in this room either. Would only recommend this place for one couple, the master bedroom is nice but second bedroom is inadequate.

Family visit

Our experience was very positive. The unit was well appointed and clean. We enjoyed the local food options and Cedros Road was a revelation. The balcony was in the process of repair but it did not restrict us. A faulty toaster was replaced promptly. We left a note about the pressure from the water taps in the kitchen which was very limited. We will certainly make use of the units if we are back for a family visit next year.

Winter Getaway in Solana Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival at Surf9, it was pouring rain and the code to get into the lock box did not work. Ashley got that straightened out immediately. We also needed a second key to the unit as some of us went golfing and were locked out of the unit. Ashley sorted that out immediately. We did not have any issues other than the master shower having lukewarm water and the other bathroom’s sink draining slowly. But these issues did not bother us. We did want Ashley to know about them. The unit was great and our family had a wonderful holiday. I would definitely recommend Surf Song to anyone who wanted a great getaway from the cold.

Best Summer Vacay!

Great location, walk to beach was easy. View and having the constant sound of the ocean was AMAZING! Lots of room for our family of 4. Can’t wait to come back!
