About this property

Lovely 4 bedroom 2 bath beach house located on the the desirable west end of Sunset Beach, NC. Voted as a top 10 beach by National Geographic, you will not be disappointed with the miles of white sand beach, undulating dunes and large bird sanctuary. A short block(2-3 minute walk to beach ACCESS and then a short walk on the access( another 3 or so minutes) and your toes are in the sand. The island is bike friendly and there are miles of marshes to explore by kayak or boat. Add to that, several world class golf courses are nearby within several miles. Restaurants, shops and grocery stores are a short drive located just over the bridge. Calabash, a quaint shrimping village, is a short 5 mile drive and abounds with vintage stores, art galleries and restaurants, not to mention picturesque Little River.
The home is decorated with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. Relax on one of the many decks and enjoy the incredible sunset views Sunset Beach is famous for. An outdoor screened room with a seating area including a hammock and well as a dining table adds to the living space, perfect for relaxing or enjoying an al fresco meal. A gas grill is conviently located near the screened room. Two ceiling fans keep the room pleasant on those warm summer days. Indoors, the house has 4 private bedrooms. The large master has a king bed with memory foam, seating area, large closet and private deck. Two bedrooms have queen beds and private deck each. The fourth bedroom has two twins which can convert to a king and a twin bed daybed. The Kitchen is fully appointed and the casual, tasteful decor will insure a pleasant vacation experience. Keurig coffeemaker and coffee pods supplied.

Excellent Beach Experience

Truly enjoyed staying at this location. The beach was easily accessible and the sunsets were amazing. Great location - highly recommend this property.

Labor Day 2023

My Family and I loved staying here for the week of Labor Day. Short walk to the beach and very spacious home with great comforts. We will deff be back again in the future and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay at Sunset!

About the host

We purchased the home in Spring 2018 from the original owners and proceeded to update and upgrade the home to current standards. We wanted to created a comfortable home with amenities to make it a perfect vacation getaway, both for our guests and ourselves.

Why they chose this property

We loved the location on the island at the desirable and quieter west end. The oversized corner lot allows for a breathable feeling, better light coming into the house and more expansive decking for relaxing. The large living area is great for larger families. The 2 levels for bedrooms allow for more privacy. The beach is only a short block away.
