Quaint one bedroom, one full bath seasonal cottage at Sea Breeze Cottages, located just off Route 1 and walking distance (1 mile) to Hammonassett Beach and close (2 miles) to Madison Town Center. Cottage is approximately 400 sf with a vaulted ceiling with 2 skylights. Air conditioning and heat included. Small screened in front porch and rear patio with awning. Linens provided.

Kitchen equipped with microwave, two burner cooktop,
toaster oven and refrigerator. Sofa is a queen size sleeper. Cable TV and internet provided. Gas grill on patio.

Lovely Madison CT cottage

The cottage is perfect for one, maybe 2 people. It's very comfortable and well equipped. There's an outdoor shower and gas grill for use. The cabin is air conditioned and there is also a porch. It's part of a community, so you will see the neighbors. It is also within walking/biking distance to Hamonassett, which is the greatest part. I loved being able to explore the beach at different times of days. A very lovely stay.

My week in Madison

This cottage was very comfortable in every way. All I had to do was bring food. All the comforts of home in a cozy cottage. The setting is really lovely and quiet--a great get-a-way spot; even tho it is easy to get to Rt 1. It feels like a tucked-away magical place!

Madison cottage

Excellent, I really enjoyed my stay here. Cute cozy cottage in a quiet, friendly neighborhood close to Hammonasset State Park and beach. Clean, with everything provided, (linens, towels, cable and wifi). Just bring your food! Loved it. I was by myself, but it could sleep up to 5 persons if needed.

My two sisters and I live on the shoreline (Madison and Old Saybrook). We are new to renting, other than to friends and family, and are hoping that our visitors enjoy the cottage and the area as much as our family has.

Why they chose this property

This cottage was purchased by our parents when converted from rental units to condos and they enjoyed spending many summers there especially when their 5 children and grandchildren came for a day at the beach and cook-out on the back patio. Lots of fond memories!
