Overall this is a great vacation home. It has all the amenities we needed and a great library which we used several times. We spent many hours on the screened porch which was great with the overhead fan. We knew the lake in front had dried up so that was the only major downside to accessing the lake. We did use the boat that the owner moved to the main lake and I was able to catch a nice bass. The location is perfect and we enjoyed many nearby attractions like the air boat tour and several golf courses. We hope to return next year.

I stayed at this location as I was visiting family and friends in the area. It has a nice location, and I enjoyed the lake view. Chris was a great host and very responsive.
Cypress Cottage was a great way to find some peace and tranquility between a busy schedule of church services and meetings. It's a wonderful location that you can tell has been well loved by its owners. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is a great place for just that.

The cabin was perfect and had so many amenities to offer! Was very cozy and comfortable and all the extra touches to make it a perfect stay! My husband and daughter loved taking out the boat and fishing every day while I relaxed on the dock! Very peaceful and very enjoyable! Wish we had our own place like this to get away, we'll definitely love to stay here again!

The setting is peaceful and private and if you’re a walker or biker the Withlacoochee Trail is half mile away. Chris is great, responded very quickly to any questions we had and when the wind tore the patio umbrella Chris had it replaced within 24 hours. Overall our stay was wonderful! Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic time riding on the Withlacoochee trail then relaxing on the deck of the cottage. The owner was very nice and told us some of the interesting history of the family cottage. We hope to be back soon.

Thank you your great review! I hope you folks will come back and stay again. Chris
We wanted to “get away from it all” but be by a lake and the Withlacoochee bike path. This was perfect. Property is rustic but well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful lakefront and very close to the trail. Owner was friendly and helpful.
Had a wonderful time. The host was very accommodating. It was a beautiful setting on the water. We loved the history of the home. The kids love to fish right from the property.

Becky, Thank you for the wonderful review! I'm very glad that you enjoyed yourselves and hope that you will come back and visit us again. Thanks, Chris.
I spent two nights at Cypress Cottage, and it was exactly what I needed — calm, peaceful, and close to nature. Despite the 4th of July fireworks in the distance, the cottage offered a perfect retreat with only the soothing outdoor sounds. Special thanks to our host, Chris, for his warm hospitality, thoughtful touches, and for following up to check in and make sure everything was going well. His care and attention truly made the stay even more enjoyable. It was a lovely getaway, and my dog enjoyed it just as much as I did.
