Cozy water front getaway

This is the Florida that everyone needs to experience. This property is a two bedroom one and a half bath cozy cottage on the canal with boat access to the Tsala Apopa chain of lakes. Screened in back porch overlooks the canal where you can look for gators and relax. Fenced in back yard. Perfect for your fur babies. There are miles of canal to explore by boat or kayak. We furnish 2 kayaks. The fishing is great as is the opportunity to see Florida wildlife in its natural habitat. The area is airboater friendly. There is a neighborhood boat ramp across the street. State bike trail, Floral City Park and disc golf, and lots of nearby golf courses too. Great food and entertainment right around the corner at Sleepy Hollow Fish Camp.

Fantastic Experience

The property is comfortable and lovely and the owner is a dream to work with. She was extremely responsive and helpful with minor issues and I would recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in the area!

The property was clean but a bit dated. But it was perfect for our stay. The doggy door, the screened porch on the canal and the ease in communicating with the owner was wonderful.

Great stay for our situation

We were waiting for our home to be completed and needed a furnished place with a yard for our fur baby. He loved the back enclosed patio and to be able to run freely. Everyone is very friendly and the area is nice and relaxing

Exactly what we were looking for. Our dog, loved the doggie doors and the fenced fenced yard. AC worked great (important in Florida). Very convenient to all our favorite places in the area. The added bonus was the boat ramp directly across the street from the property, as we are airboaters. Quiet neighborhood. We are definitely keeping this place on our favorites list.

Great Location

We loved this place and already looking forward to our next visit. The yard was huge and completely fenced in, our fur babes loved it. The boat ramp across the street is more than convenient. Kathy is wonderful at quick responses and she was very helpful when we decided to extend our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The house had everything we needed. Definitely staying here again!!!!

Home away from home

I'm always glad when this home is available for my trip to the sunshine state. I feel at ease and peaceful here. The hosts are so kind. While I didn't see Bob (a small alligator) in the canal, probably not so little now, I did see an armadillo and a small turtle.

Great Florida Get Away!!

House was perfect for my husband, me and our 2 dogs. Beautiful, huge fenced in yard. Very comfortable beds. The den was our favorite room, that sectional couch is the best. We had a question about the house and it was met with a very fast response, Jessi and Nelson were great hosts. Over all wonderful place to stay, only a quick drive to Inverness and Floral City.

All around great experience!

The second day the air conditioning quit working properly, the owners had an HVAC company out to fix it within a couple hours. The house was nice and clean, the yard is wonderful. We ended up having 2 major hurricanes happen while staying here, the structural integrity of the home was sound. The owners were very informative on power outage and restoration updates. Great fishing. 10/10 would stay again/recommend.

Peaceful and quiet

Located in a very quiet neighborhood with large, fenced yard for furry friends. Two living areas with TVs for those who can't agree what to watch. Very clean. Jack's, the local store, is very accommodating. If you forget something (lettuce) he'll try and get it for you. Host response great! Highly recommend if you want to get away from the city and traffic!

Boaters Paradise

This was our first stay at Vrbo and was pleasantly pleased. The area was very nice and quiet , extremely relaxing. If I can make it back to this area I would definitely use this place again. Extremely clean an cozy little home. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive to our messages. Just informing not complaining: ( We did not know that we should of told are hoist at the time of the stay) 1. House was warm @72 Degrees. 2. More toilet paper would of been nice.

Great location

This was a last minute trip and it turned out to be wonderful! We enjoyed sitting outside and watching all the wildlife! The dock was perfect to sit on and throw a fishing pole in. The house was well-maintained and clean and provided everything you needed! Look forward to coming back again sometime!

THE ULTIMATE FLORIDA EXPERIENCE!

We enjoyed the beauty of our surroundings,as it changed almost daily! This is the spot for the ultimate Florida Experience! The neighbors were very friendly and it was nice to be able to have our Fur Baby with us. The house was very clean and roomy. There was everything we needed. Our host made sure we had whatever we needed.. Great place to just relax and unwind after our long journey from Washington! We definitely plan on using this place again!

Peaceful, lovely home

A very lovely, comfy home. Easy to find. Had all the comforts of home. Very peaceful sitting on the screened in porch, enjoying coffee in the mornings (my favorite part of the day). The host was very pleasant and kind. I definitely recommend this listing and will be checking for availability in my future trips.

We enjoyed it. Would like to buy it.

Battery’s missing from remotes. The power went off in half the house the last day and couldn’t find incoming power box. One tv worked. It could be a very nice place with a few updates. We were pretty much happy with it.
