Our stay was far from good. First, the home owner did not honor the amenity of an elevator that was listed on the VRBO website. Our reservation was managed by a local rental company and apparently on their listing the elevator wasn’t included. Even though I made the reservation through VRBO the home owner said they wouldn’t allow us to use the elevator. Considering my 96 year old mother could only get into the house with an elevator, she was not able to come to the house. Then the hot water heater died half way through the stay. The rental company handled it beautifully as they quickly got us into a similar house. And the new house had an elevator, so ultimately it worked to our advantage. If they had honored the VRBO amenity we would have been much happier with this rental.
