The Village Bungalow is a spacious second story one plus bedroom Flat with village views and some ocean peeks. The home is open and bright with many large windows. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and a full sized bed. The full sized bed is in a nook off to the side of the master bedroom, with barn doors to close off the space. The third bed is a queen, it is in a nook off the living room it also has barn doors for privacy. The location is close to shops, grocery stores and restaurants. if you have forgotten anything the grocery store is a 2 minute walk away. The flat is above a hair solon and a copy shop. The space has beautiful hard wood floors and a new rustic bathroom in the master bedroom.

The property was beautiful, clean and organized. Check in was very easy and communications with our host were fantastic! The property itself is conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Loved the ease of parking and then walking to everything.

Wonderful stay-

This place was wonderful. My daughter loves the hobbit doors and the yoga swing in the living room. My family of five was very comfortable here. Beds were nice and comfortable. Balcony was great for sunset and sunrise views of picturesque town of Mendocino. Would definitely stay again!!

Village Bungalow was a perfect place to stay in Mendocino

The bungalow was wonderful! It is decorated beautifully, outfitted with all you need and its location is central to all the great hikes, historic sites and beautiful coastline we wanted to visit and see.

Great stay for families!

This is our second time staying here with our 7yr old and 3yr old. The secret toy cubbies and swing are such a hit and the location is perfect. The place is super cozy for a winter stay!

This is a great location in Mendocino. Everything is an easy walk. Nice and roomy space. Could use some updating such as kitchen cabinets are pretty old and worn. Drawers don’t open easily One drawer falls out when opened. Nice views from the second floor. Pretty foggy most of our stay but still a beautiful village.

Home away from home

We have stayed in this bungalow a number of times and it literally feels like our home away from home in Mendocino. Everything is clean and very comfortable. As three women traveling together, the three bedrooms fits our needs perfectly.We couldn't ask for a better place!!!

Home Away From Home

We’ve stayed at The Bungalow three years in a row and are already planning on a fourth. It’s cozy and clean and lovely. The location is perfect for our family, close to downtown shops, close to trails along the coast, and a short drive to our favorite beach. I can’t imagine vacationing anywhere else.

We keep coming back!

We’ve tried other places in the village, but keep coming back to this location. Great spot, all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, suits our family of 4 just fine, and wonderful host.

Happy 4th of July

We travel to Mendocino for the 4th for the last 42 years. We loved the Village Bungalow. It was conveniently located, plenty of room for the four of us. Clean and comfortable. I recommend stay here!

We've been wanting to come back to the Mendocino area, and this home was perfect for our family of 5. Communication with Marggie was timely and thoughtful. We would love to stay here again.

Fabulous!!!

We came here for a little getaway and were so happy with our accommodations. Great space with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking! The bed was super comfortable and the location could not have been better. You must walk down the road in the evening to see the sunset - spectacular! We will definitely try to rent here again!

This place is huge, comfortable, centrally located, and extremely well equipped, right down to the Dom Perignon ice bucket. Way more room than we needed for two of us, but it felt good to settle in and spread out a bit.

Another great experience!

This was our third time staying at the Village Bungalow and had another great stay! The spacious living room and huge sectional allowed all 5 of us to hang out together and play board games, we made dinner in the kitchen each night and slept great in the comfortable beds. Super clean with many thoughtful touches!

Wonderful Property

Such a great vacation, and the Village Bungalow is one of the reasons! Fantastic location, easy parking space, clean, comfortable beds, plenty of linens, all the dishes and amenities one needs to relax. The shower is particularly luxurious, and having plenty of hooks to hang up clothes and towels was so appreciated (most rentals don't have enough hooks). Marggie the host was great with communication and the check-in/out process was super smooth. Wonderful property!

Comfy, open, and light property that makes you feel at home. In town and close to everything. No need to get in the car and drive. Very welcoming.
