The property was wonderful. We were close to the downtown Bay St area and easily walked there each day. Great evenings enjoyed in the backyard as well. The.home was well appointed and our host was wonderful. The beach pass was used every day!

Thank you Maureen for the great review.
We enjoyed hosting you all! Do come back again.
The most adorable house and perfect for the 4 of us. It was a short walk into downtown and to view the bay and the beautiful houses. I highly recommend you stay here!!
The Cottage is a wonderful place to stay! EVERYTHING you need for a very relaxing stay! INCLUDING Beach pass & chairs! Centrally located- convenient to everything! Host is very responsive. Quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be back!
The Sunshine Cottage was exactly as advertised. Very cute and more spacious than expected. Though we didn't eat in, the pantry and kitchen were well stocked with everything needed to prep and cook delightful meals. The bedrooms offered plenty of closet space and the beds and bedding were attractive and comfortable. As a bonus, the backyard seating, lighting and firepit made it delightful in the summer mornings and evenings. The neighborhood was fun to walk or run around in and Bay St. with its large antebellum houses was 10-15 minutes on foot. My wife and I would have loved to have had more time in Beaufort, and Karen's cottage was a major highlight. Will definitely stay again the next time in town.
The cottage is perfect and we hope to stay next year for 4 weeks. Bed comfy , fireplace handy when temps were chilly and everything one would need was provided. Everything great about Beaufort was in walking distance from the cottage. Also we appreciated the parking pass to Hunting Beach. Well worth the trip,
Loved the decor of this place! Karen was a great host, very helpful. Location was great for exploring Beaufort and the surrounding locations. If we are back in Beaufort again, this is where we'll stay!
This was a great place to stay for exploring coastal SC and GA. Easy parking, walkable to a few shops and restaurants, easy access to plenty of other places to explore (the Hunting Beach pass was a great bonus!), super comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a nice outdoor seating space. I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and there were a lot of nice little touches at this one (including quality TP! LOL). I was a little off put by checkin requests that included taking the trash bins to the curb on our first night there (with other people’s trash) and requests to water plants (I’m not family staying at your place for free)…but the check out actions were so simple, it made it all seem much more reasonable. Would definitely stay again.
The check in process was smooth, the location was terrific and the cottage was perfect! My wife and I couldn’t have been happier. We’ll definitely stay here again if it’s available when we visit Beaufort again.
I was impressed with everything at the cottage on Duke St: cleanliness, facilities, location! I hope to get my husband to go back with me in the future. Thank you for the lovely vacation!!!!
