We really enjoyed our stay. Having the 3 king beds was a real plus!We used the hot tub and heated the pool - having that for the kids was great. On the downside, the icemaker in the refrigerator didn't work, and the tv selection is limited - we had to use a laptop connection to watch the bowl games.
We had a wonderful time visiting the greater La Quinta area. It was our first time, so we didn't quite know what to expect. The home is situated in a cute community, and nearly backs against the majestic mountain range. Given there was a group of us, we were fortunate for the garage access, as we had two cars. While the community felt safe, I hoped for a deadbolt or latch to secure the home, especially since the front yard hold the swimming pool, and I had concerns about our little ones finding their way outside at night. The home itself is well kept, and everything felt clean. The beds were a little squeaky, but we got used to it quickly. Additional details about the house that I'll nitpick: one of the barstools along the kitchen island was broken, and part of the couch in the living room was caved in by a previous user. Neither of these things bothered us, but worth addressing by the owner. Lastly, we could not get the pool heater to work using the iPad that was provided. When I contacted the host, they were quick to respond, but noted that folks usually request the pool to be heated in advance -- I was not aware of that, so we ultimately did not use the pool at all. In total, the home was as-listed and a quality stay. Very grateful for the opportunity to be welcomed!
The house was quite nice. The location was fantastic, and it was reasonably clean and well-supplied. However, the beds in all the bedrooms were very squeaky, and the showers had low water pressure and were difficult to turn. Despite these minor issues, it's a good property. Additionally, the owner was very responsive to our questions and concerns.
the home was very clean and beautiful. the beds are a bit squeaky ( for just normal sleeping). Very easy access to property. wish the pool was cooler but due to the size and heat it is understandable.
The house was just as described. Great location! Pool was perfect. There was an up charge to heat the spa which was a bit disappointing as we were already charged a premium for a big weekend.
The Most Perfect Desert Gem! Better than we could’ve imagined!
Our stay was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, the cleanliness of the place was evident. Every corner of this beautifully designed property was spotless, making us feel immediately comfortable and at ease.
One of the standout features was the abundance of natural light flooding through the windows, giving the entire space a warm, welcoming vibe. The interior design and artwork were thoughtfully curated, reflecting a modern yet cozy aesthetic that captivated us throughout our stay.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, and coupled with the tranquil surroundings, ensured a restful night's sleep. The kitchen was a dream for us, as it was stocked with all the essentials needed to cook and enjoy meals just like at home.
The property manager was very responsive and attentive, quickly answering any questions we had. Outside, the pool area was pristine and proved to be the perfect spot for relaxing under the California sun. The pool itself was well-maintained, with crystal-clear water that invited us to dive in time and again.
Also, the availability of fresh towels, laundry detergent, hair dryers, toiletries, and the overall maintenance of the property added to the luxurious feel of our stay. The location was also ideal, conveniently situated to explore shops, restaurants, and natural attractions.
We can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you for making our trip incredible! 10/10

Poorly maintained and cleaned
There’s a lot that needed/needs fixing to rate this home anything above, just about OK. On arrival the frame of the sofa was broken in 3 of 5 seats, grubby and covered in pet hair. The sofa was cleaned and the frame partially replaced, but 10 days into our stay. A whole bunch of lights didn’t work. The master bedroom en-suite door was loose on its hinges (fixed after two weeks). The area around and above the cooker was sticky with fat residue and significantly heat damaged. Showers and tubs drain very slowly, shower head was completely loose. Master bed curtain rod fixings are hanging out of the wall. Patio lounger cushions were severely bleached (replaced two weeks into our stay). Some of these were fixed. The home was generally clean (bathrooms, floors, bedding, towels), but according to the host, baseboards, external windows, cupboard faces, light fittings (the large glass ones were so dirty that they looked frosted), were only cleaned as part of a “deep clean” - so they weren’t clean - host did send in a cleaner in the third week of our stay. I don’t think the dishwasher filter had been cleaned for a year.
Bottom line - this place could be fine with a maintenance program and regular deep cleaning. The fact that the host “bent over backwards” to fix some of the issues was a late and minor consolation for significant shortfalls.
Oh yes - I wonder why the front patio sliding windows are secured with a heavy duty anti-theft bicycle u-lock???
This house was great. Location was good, it was clean and well supplied. The lock on the door needs attention, also the master and on other bedroom had very squeaky beds and the shower cartridges need to be replaced as they were hard to turn on and off. Other than those few minor issues it’s a great property and would highly recommend it.
Stayed here for a few significant birthdays and found it to be very convenient for hiking, pool time, restaurants. I would stay again next time we are in the area.

Needs a little maintenance
Actually the 2nd year in a row to stay at this property while golfing in LaQuinta. I always do my best to enjoy my stay while on vacation but there were some things about this property that need attention.
The Wi-Fi never worked nor did the TV remotes. The bath and wash towels were minimal and poor quality. I travel the states and frequently stay in VRBO properties. Most have at a minimum hotel single serve condiments but the location was out of stock and additional grocery visits was needed.
On a good note, the price was fair and the home has plenty of room to move. My group had a good time but I feel the property needs a little bit of TLC. The host immediately responded but some areas of concern will have to be fixed after our visit.

Vrbo in LaQuinta
The house was okay but needs owner attention. There were no mattress pads on beds and the sheets were very worn. The beds squeak terribly. The bathroom towels were worn out. Also there were no hand towels. The kitchen towels were also terrible and no dish cloths. The lamps in one bedroom were broken and didn’t work. There were no directions for the television in the living room and no guide for operation of that or for the hot tub. We did figure out the iPad on the wall and it was how the hot tub was controlled but how about some welcome directions?! The living furniture was very dirty. The hot tub was the highlight. Very nice and was serviced regularly. Neighborhood is quiet and nicely located near a walking park at the base of the mountains
We were a family of 9 adults and 2 infants and were comfortably accommodated in this house. The open Kitchen/living area allowed us to be together and play games or eat meals comfortably. The pool and spa area were large enough for us to all use. The Kitchen was equipped with plenty of pots and pans. There were plenty of dishes and drink ware. Great house!
