Mountain Retreat at Lake Cushman

Relax and enjoy life at Lake Cushman in this spacious vacation home. This retreat boasts views of Lake Cushman, Mt. Rose and Mt. Ellinor.

There's plenty of room for the family with 3 sleeping areas, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, a full kitchen and a small game room. All 3 sleeping areas have queen size beds. Both bathrooms have stand-up shower stalls. The bathroom on the main floor has a stacked washer and dryer.

Enjoy your morning coffee and take in the view of the Olympic Mountains on the master bedroom balcony. The beautiful, updated kitchen has everything you need: new, stainless-steel appliances, toaster, microwave, crock pot, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots & pans, cookware and bakeware. Cook outdoors on the propane grill and eat alfresco on the large deck that sports a partial view of the lake and remote-controlled awning.

After a day of playing on the lake, make memories telling stories and roasting marshmallows around a campfire in the fire pit. Challenge friends to boardgames in the game room in the loft or a rousing game of foosball in the garage. Need to check in with the office while on vacation? Take advantage of the computer desk and task chair in the daylight basement while enjoying a view of the mountains. Our retreat has plenty of parking with both a carport and parking space in front of the garage.

Dogs are welcome. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. (Please note: WiFi is available in the house, but our home does not have a landline phone, satellite, or cable access. Cell phone access outside our home is limited and cannot be guaranteed.)

Great home base for the NP

The house was a long way from civilization which was nice and had lots of essentials for our trip to Olympic. Only a couple hours from anywhere in the park and in a great neighborhood.

Lakeside summer getaway

The location of this gem is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed all that there was to offer in the close by lake access. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the local deer and squirrels. One thing to note is that the basement is a bit musty. Dehumidifier was provided, but it needed a bit of airing out each evening.

Excellent stay so close to the lake

We had a wonderful stay in this property that's an easy walk to Lake Cushman! Clean place with comfortable beds, beautiful deck, firepit, and a little view of the lake. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding nearby and grilling and lounging around the firepit at night. Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing House Makes for an Amazing Stay!

This house rocks the amenities and location! Everything from great wine openers and lime squeezers (sometimes the little things are BIG) and coffee, to wood for the fire pit, games, a sound bar. Great location and the use of the parking permit is a terrific perk. We loved our stay!

We bought the lot next door to the Mountain Retreat at Lake Cushman in 2011 and would stay in our fifth wheel trailer on the RV pad. We purchased the house in 2018. We have made a lot of great family memories here and hope you and your family will do the same.
