Stylish apartment, perfectly located

The apartment has been renovated to a high standard, with lovely decor. It's in the heart of the buzz of central Lyon, great for tourism, for restaurants, for night-life, close to both rivers and convenient for transport. We would happily stay again.

Lyon Apartment review

There was something strange about this apartment. There was no closet space in the bedroom in which to hang out garments. All closets were locked with the exception with one with cubbies. The only bath towels (thin) were placed on the beds - no hand towels or wash cloths. We contacted the manager, who got in touch with the owner and a bag of additional towels was in the apartment when we retuned. There was no soap. We finally went out and bought bath soap, extra toilet paper (just in case), and paper towels - as the one hand towel for three people was hanging in the bathroom. The kitchen had a great gas cooktop and oven + a dishwasher! Unfortunately, there were no knives, save for two small paring knives and a serrated breadknife in a piece on which to cut a baguette. There were no measuring cups, nor an electric mixer, no dishtowels in the kitchen, hence the need for the paper towels. Every room was on a different level, so we strategically placed chairs at the bottom of each "landing" so as not to trip or fall down the steps. The beds had only a sheet, duvet, and two shams matching the duvet - not really conducive to a good night's sleep. On the positive side, the apartment was immaculate, and was within walking distance to the important sights, as well as grocery and wine shops. Our street was quiet and not at all busy. Next time, we'll look most carefully...

Lovely property in an ideal location.

Clean, comfortable and great location. Ideal in every respect. Exactly as advertised. Just be advised that it is on the 3rd floor, a total of 75 steps up and down and there is no elevator

Great apartment with character

Great location, very clean and new. Loved the decor. When we visited Lyon was very hot and there was only one fan. All the windows needed to be opened to create a through breeze when it cooled early in the morning / at night which meant it got noisy. Would highly recommend if not during a heatwave. Bed was very comfortable.
