If exploring nature and outdoor activities are your style, there are state parks, miles of trails to hike, bike, or paddle within minutes of this perfectly situated location.

This charming home has a fully equipped kitchen for at home meal preparations. Stock up on groceries and essentials at the Piggly Wiggly- just a minute away! If you're looking to take a break from kitchen duty, take advantage of the vast variety of food options within walking distance. Don't forget a Door County "must-do!" Visit Al Johnson's, just 2 blocks away, for a great breakfast and visit the goats on the roof!

The home sleeps 6 comfortably with a bedroom and full bathroom on the lower level and 2 separate sleeping areas with a full bath on the upper level, including a large open space, a perfect hang-out for kids or teens. A day bed is available if a bit more sleeping space is needed.
linens are provided for each guest. Don't forget to bring your beach towels and sand chairs for days in the sun and surf!

After a day of Door County adventure, come home to ease and privacy.
Relax inside by the fireplace, enjoy a beverage on the front porch, or lounge in the yard where you'll be able to grill out or wind down around a campfire. If nightlife beckons, indoor and outdoor establishments with craft beer, cocktails, bowling, and great music are just a block away!

Loved staying in Joan and Dennis’s house in Sister Bay. Everything we could have needed was available and well maintained. The home is thoughtfully appointed and tidy! Would definitely stay here again. Just a 3 minute walk into town.

This was a beautiful home and everything was extremely comfortable. The home had everything we needed for our weeks stay. There was nice outdoor space and we took advantage of the fire pit and grill. It was a very short walk to restaurants and marina, and short drive to state parks and other towns in Door County. Communication with the hosts was great.

This beautiful house is in an excellent location with a 5 minute walk to downtown Sister Bay. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with essentials. The quiet location allowed us to drink our morning coffee while listening to the birds. One of the best VRBO's we've ever stayed at. We will definitely be staying here again. Adorable house so close to DT Sister Bay we could walk home with all our shopping treasures. The kitchen well stocked (even with candy) and there is lots of family space. The host is very easy to communicate and has lots of information, he even left us a note to tell us about the monarch chrysalis on the porch. We enjoyed watching it develop and then fly away. The bedroom with the twin beds is more loft style, with it being open to the stairway that leads to the kitchen. The queen bedroom's access for both bedroom and bathroom access is thru the twin room. It was not a big deal, just less quiet or private for the twin bed users. Certainly perfect for family.We will stay again.

We had a great stay at this property in Sister Bay, highly recommend!! Dennis and Joan made everything so easy and the house is in a perfect location. We walked to town and the beach everyday with our 2 little kids, and enjoyed the campfire with them at night. We would definitely stay here again!

We love Door County! Growing up in Wisconsin, going to Door County was always a special experience. We are truly grateful to be able to share this experience with you! It is our hope you will create happy and lasting memories here too.

What makes this property unique

As we enter 2022, we find ourselves busy with more upgrades and improvements! New kitchen cabinets and countertops were installed earlier this spring. New front porch flooring, new siding, and a new roof along with new exterior lighting all happened in 2021. We replaced old windows and luckily were able to keep all the antique woodwork intact. We look forward to sharing this charming bungalow with you!
