BEAUTIFUL - BEAUTIFUL - BEAUTIFUL! We were in Tomahawk for my son's wedding and The Spicy Squirrel was the perfect place to stay! The location was perfect and the house is wonderful. We absolutely loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the amazing view of the lake. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!

Great location!

The house is very roomy. Right on the lake! We enjoyed fishing off the dock & watching the sunset from the deck. Close to restaurants, bars, ice cream shop, and gas station. We plan on staying there again!

Everything went great. Fishing was good. Weather was nice. Cabin was great as usual. Would like to book for the opening weekend next year, which is Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd.

Snow-less Snowmobile Trip 😉

Property was in a nice location. Had there been snow I'm sure it would be a great place to hit the trails! We still had fun playing games, doing puzzles, watching movies & eating at the Tilted Loon. Thank you for a Great Family Getaway!!

Nice house, easy to find

The layout of the house is good and the backyard right on the lake is beautiful!! It was a little noisier than I had expected, but with the music or tv on you couldn’t hear the intermittent road noise. Good location; near some fantastic hiking trails! Owner was available and replied quickly to texts.

Nice location. Access to many lakes in the area.

Had to clean the grill before we could use it. Remnants of part hamburger stuck on grates with a whole burger stuck to the burners with mold growing.

Nice Home on a Beautiful Lake

My family and I stayed here in October as a nice fall color getaway. Even though the lake was low, it was still a beautiful property on a beautiful lake. We really liked the set up of the rooms too. One room is on a lower level than the other two with its own bathroom and shower and the other two rooms are on the main level with plenty of room between them so everyone had enough space and privacy in the home. The host had great communication and was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We had such a great time. Shawn made it easy to access the house and had everything we needed there for our stay. It is winter but we are thinking of renting it in the summer to enjoy the lake and deck! 15 out of 10 for sure! The Spicy Squirrel was the best!

My husband and I were absolutely amazed with this house. We”be rented numerous places up north since 2007 and this one beats them all! We will go back definitely!!! Highly recommended and I’ve already spread the good word to family and friends.

Comfortable home base for any occasion

Clean, comfortable accommodations on a beautiful lake. Location is close to many restaurants and not far from other north woods destinations. Owner communicated promptly and helpful. We would definitely consider returning any season of the year after experiencing winter there. Right on snowmobile trail!

Great place to stay

The cabin was perfect for us. It's a great location with 2 restaurants within walking distance. It's right on the snowmobile trail. Super easy to get to and a bunch of parting if you have trailers with you. This might be a new yearly go-to spot.

Late Summer Vacation

We had a great experience at this property. Shawn was very helpful and responsive when we reached out to him. Our kids spent hours on the paddle boat and fishing from the dock. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
