Sea and Parkview

Wonderful location close to nature on a park-like, spacious property with old trees and a view of the sea. The interior of the house could do with some modernisation.

We arrived to find the Host nearby.The location is wonderful, quiet, nestled in some woodland with other housing set backOn entering, the place smelled seriously musty, in spite of windows being open.Much of the furniture was dusty, many cobwebs everywhere, eg light fittings. The window glass was dirty, the whole place was very neglected.What we found in the kitchen was awful. - One chair had a wonky leg, was in danger of collapse. - The cutlery drawers had food debris mixed in with the cutlery, which felt greasy to the touch. - The oven had a baking tray in it that had a thick layer of grease in it. The inner surfaces of the oven itself were brown with food remains.- the cupboards had food smears down their frontsThe main bed looked and smelled as if someone else had slept in it: one side of the sheet looked yellower than the other. On picking up the duvet, there were dirt particles and a hair (not from someone's scalp) on the sheet, which also had a hole in it. My wife walked out when a substantial spider was found under a pillow.The host witnessed all of this.Note that his mood darkened palpably as we showed him what we saw and he became verbally abusive. I wanted to quote his exact words, but Vrbo obliged me to censor them out.Vrbo contacted him later, but he refused to refund anything, claiming that we had not explained what the problem was, that we were the problem. Vrbo abandoned us by refunding their fee.Truly appalling behaviour by both Vrbo and the host

Terrain magnifiquement arboré et maison très agréable

Nous avons passé d'excellents moments en famille, dans une maison très agréable, installée sur un domaine magnifiquement arboré. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire qui habite dans une des 7 maisons qui se trouvent sur le domaine. Depuis le terrain on peut voir et entendre l'océan tres proche, et la 1ère plage est accessible à 400 m à pied.

Au calme en sous bois et face à la mer

Cadre agréable et très calme. Domaine partagé avec les copropriétaires. Accès à la mer à 3 minutes avec vue sur mer du jardin. Jardin boisé magnifique. Ancienne maison bretonne "dans son jus" avec une chouette chambre parentale au RDC et salle de bain , cuisine équipée mais chambres à l'étage "vieillottes" . Propriétaire sympathique et réactif.

Charmante famille très discrète et respectueuse du site que j'aurai plaisir à recevoir à nouveau. Seul petit bémol, la maison aurait pû être laissée un peu plus propre et surtout l'évier de la cuisine.

Traumhafte Lage

Das Haus war wie beschrieben und die Lage war traumhaft: inmitten eines privaten, bewaldeten Parks, direkt oberhalb eines Strandes gelegen, ganz ruhig und mit herrlichen Ausblicken. Ein Auto ist erforderlich. Im schönen Ort Penestin findet man alles, was man braucht. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert.
