It was a pleasure to have you as my guest, and I hope that you enjoyed your time here.
I take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable and welcoming space for all of my guests, and I am glad that you found it to be satisfactory. Your positive feedback means a lot to me, and it motivates me to continue improving the rental for future guests.
Wish it was closer to town but worked out better for us in the end with the car show being out of hand. Hot tub was great. Didn't have a chance to cook. Wasn't able to take advantage of the free tickets through xplorie. Clean over all! Beds were doable for 2 nights. The water does have a strong sulfur smell but you don't smell like it if you shower in it. Fooseball table was nice. Lots of room. Definitely recommend for ppl who want to slow down and have more quiet space. The sound of the river is therapeutic!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear that the cabin turned out to be a peaceful retreat—especially with the car show traffic in town—and that you enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table, and the soothing sound of the river. It’s also great to know the cabin was clean and had plenty of room for your stay.
We appreciate your feedback about the beds and the well water odor. While the sulfur smell is common in some areas with natural well systems, we’re always looking into ways to improve comfort for our guests. And thank you for pointing out the quiet location—perfect for slowing down and relaxing.
We hope you’ll be back again, and maybe next time you can take advantage of the kitchen and the Xplorie tickets too!
The rental was clean and comfortable. Cute decor. The water is an issue though. It has a very strong egg odor. It didn’t ruin our stay. We mostly just used it as a place to sleep. The foosball table was a lot of fun!! Bring bottled water.

Thank you for your review Megan. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay other than the sulfur smell. Unfortunately with well water this is one of the issues we do occasionally run into especially if the cabin has been vacant and the water is not circulating. It is of no harm to our guests but I do understand it is not a pleasant odor. We hope that you do come back and stay with us again and thank you again for booking with us.
The odor of the well water so strong that I couldn’t shower while staying in this property unfortunately. The house itself was lovely. In a beautiful setting. I’m. It sure if there is anything that can be done about this, but the water situation made it difficult to enjoy our stay here.

I'm sorry that the smell of the water made your stay less enjoyable. Unfortunately we run off of a well system and sometimes these things do happen. You can always call the office and we will dispatch maintenance out there to see if they can do anything about the situation. Please do give us another try in the future and make sure you mention you are a return guest.
The house was perfect for us. It was off the main roads but close enough to everything we wanted to visit to be convenient. The ramp at the side of the house is a good idea but a bit too steep.
The kitchen was well supplied with plates and so forth. Worked out nicely, allowing us to fill the dishwasher before running it. The bath towels were rough. Would suggest bringing your own from home.
The road situation was a surprise but didn't limit our access.
Overall a very nice stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Just ok
Have stayed at multiple rentals like this in the area and while it was basically the same as the other small homes in the middle of no where out there it was a little more run down as the pictures don’t show the scared walls, cracked counter(though fixed), and general age of the home. It’s just a little old and damp smelling. But by far the biggest problem is the water. It smells absolutely awful. To the point that only two showers were taken between the four of us on a two night stay. I could only stand to brush my teeth once. I tried to wash my face quickly and gagged. I’m sure it’s not harmful, but it was more than we could stand. We saw some previous reviews that mentioned it but just played it off. We should have listened.

Best regards,
It was a nice place. Loved the location. Just maybe a little pricey. But for the privacy and the river right beside you, it’s not to bad. I would stay again.
The home was a great place for our family. Quiet and secluded. The river offered a great atmosphere. We enjoyed climbing the rocks and enjoys the sounds l.
The beds were soft and comfortable.
It was a great experience for our family!
We just wanted to get away for a weekend in the mountains as a family. We wanted to be close to hiking and a place to do things with kids so we chose Gatlinburg. The location was perfect, process was very easy, house was very clean and the kids loved the added foosball table. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
We loved our stay at River Song! It's away from all the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and feels like you have your own private retreat. We will definitely stay here again!
Nice spot tucked away from the main drags of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville. The sound of the river across the street was very tranquil to listen to while soaking in the hit tub. Would book again.

Tyler thanks for your review and please come back.
Great place to stay! Very friendly owners! The only complaint we had was the house had an odd smell to it. It’s not well water kinda smell either. Other than that we all really enjoyed our stay!
My boy friend and I loved our stay. The cabin was very warm, the beds were super comfortable. The cabin is kept very clean. Loved that we also had the foosball table. The hot tub was a + felt really nice. The view, and the sound of the water rushing down the river is so peaceful.

Thank you for your review Shelby, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay.
I’m glad I had read the comments regarding the water bc I prepared myself for the worst and was very surprised when it wasn’t nearly as bad as places we’ve stayed at the beach! Great location to relax and unwind. Listening to the waters from the river were amazing and made you feel as though you were staying right beside a waterfall. Home was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our quick trip to the mountains for the holiday. I would suspect it is even better in the spring/summer and being able to walk right down and fish or maybe do a bit of swimming. Overall we were extremely pleased with this property!
Me and my fiancé enjoyed this cute little place. All around, the place was wonderful but they’re were a few little things that bothered us. The water smelled absolutely awful, like rotten eggs have been sitting there for a while. Unfortunately we were only about to shower once throughout the trip due to being afraid of something being in the water, but thankfully I had purchased three cases of water, by accident, and we used just a case off water for washing our face, brushing our teeth, cooking, etc. Also, in the second bedroom, on the back of the door there were some towels hanging up and one of them looked like it had blood spots on it. Not sure about that one but, once again besides those things all in all it was a cute little place.

Thanks for your review. We had to add salt to the filtration system. The smell was sulfur in well water. It will not hurt you.
The cabin was wonderful. Beautiful location, we really enjoyed sitting out on the porch and listening to the Little Pigeon River.
