Once on the island, you’ll drive 5-minutes through wooded country roads to a private 8+ acre property with 400+ feet of waterfront, tucked away on Amsterdam Bay. The home itself has been beautifully updated and was designed for a cozy gathering of family or friends. The large deck and hot tub provide unmatched views of the bay while the row boat and paddle boards will give the adventurous an up close and personal wildlife experience. For those looking to cozy up with a good book or show, there is a beautiful living area with large windows and comfortable leather couches. For the cook inside you, enjoy the modern appliances indoors for a savory breakfast, get out the deck grill for a hearty lunch, or build a fire on the beach for a truly authentic outdoor experience.
If the property itself isn’t enough to keep you entertained, Anderson Island is an absolute treasure worth exploring with so many hidden gems scattered throughout.
Visit the quaint island general store and cafe on your way to the property to pick up necessary ingredients and any cravings to make the stay even more enjoyable.
Don’t miss the island swimming hole on Florence Lake for warm days! Make a day out of it by bringing a picnic for the afternoon or go for a quick dip to cool off. Bring along the paddle board or canoe to lengthen the stay and explore the water. The lake has roped off areas for small children, a dock in the middle for the big kids and adults to slide down and jump off. Finish off with a game of sand volleyball. Tan on the sandy beach while the kids swim to their heart’s content and build sandcastles by the lake.
Anderson Island also offers the Riviera Community Club for a unique round of golf. The golf course offers a well-maintained 9-hole golf course along with the Riviera Lakeshore restaurant for a delicious meal afterward. A fun way to take a break and bond together as friends and family.

We have had vacation property on Amsterdam bay since 1995. It is the perfect get-a-way from the busy life. Our children have enjoyed beach combing, fishing, boating, tree swing, and helping with the projects we seem to always have available for them. The stars are brighter and the sunsets amazing. It's a little paradise.
