This was a great place to stay - clean, well appointed, and excellent location. My only slight complaint is that the bed space was a little limited. Given the stated capacity, I expected one of the couches would be a sleeper couch. We had just enough room for everyone but our adult son felt a little bit cramped sleeping in the upper bunk.

Great getaway!

We basically lived in the hot tub all weekend and it was so relaxing and fun! The fire pit was a lovely spot to roast s’mores, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for another wonderful stay!!

Beautiful spot and awesome hot tub!

Our stay on the island was fantastic! The house is beautiful and comfortable, and the hot tub is amazing! Great view of the golf course and woods and a nice little view of the lake from the sun room. The only downside is that it says it sleeps nine, but the listing did not specify that two people have to sleep on an air mattress (provided) or the couches. It is really set up to sleep seven people comfortably.

This home and the host were absolutely wonderful! Easily one of the best rentals that my family has stayed at on the island. Many amenities all throughout the home and it has a well stocked kitchen, with a griddle pan!! The beds are very comfortable and the house had extra blankets and pillows. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return to this rental on our next vacation. The swim spa was a huge hit with the adults and kids!

The house was very clean & comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, we watched deer on the golf course from the awesome(!!!) swim spa, and the owner could not have been more hospitable! Highly recommend! What a gem!!!

Love the sunroom

This house was in a very nice location and the downstairs living area was really great for our kids. I LOVED the sunroom. The house was spacious and met all of our needs. It was fun to watch golfers on the golf course. The bathrooms were clean along with the kitchen counters. The rest of the home's cleanliness was lacking and was disappointing for the amount of money we spent on the rental.

Great location, great house!

I have been doing vacation rentals on Anderson Island for the last 10 years and this was our favorite. The kids loved it! It’s spacious, larger than it looks online, and in excellent condition. The hot tub is the largest one we’ve been in. It’s huge! The owners seem generous in how they offer use of things at the property and are quick to respond. We had a gathering in the outside yard with my extended family before heading over to the clubhouse for a party. Everyone loved the space! I’d rent again, for sure.

Anderson Island Getaway!

This is a cute property right in the middle of Anderson Island. It's literally 2 houses down from the only restaurant on the island and really close to the lake and little park on the water. It was clean, well-stocked, and I loved the little extras that came with it! Making dinner and hanging out was super easy!The house is older, which isn't always my favorite. It has air conditioning which is awesome, but it was uneven, the downstairs got super cold. There are some steep and uneven stairs that go down the first floor, which feels a little more like a basement. There are two rooms downstairs, one upstairs. So if you're staying with a more elderly or disabled crowd, those stairs could prove treacherous. If you're a golfer, then you'll love having the golf course right out your window. For us, it was very distracting. There were people RIGHT outside the windows, talking and drinking, from 8am until 10pm. The house got hit by a ball at some point, and people kept looking into the windows. So using the hot tub or hanging out outside was awkward at times. But if that's your jam, you might like it.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay on Anderson Island. This property is in a great location, so close to the lakes and Riviera Restaurant (Lakeshore Restaurant?). The restaurant had many wonderful activities and the food was great. We walked (less than 5 minutes) and ate there almost everyday. We also took the rowboats out on the lake almost everyday as well. Oh, and golf…the clubhouse is right there, and we played everyday! So fun and such a great course! As for the property itself, it’s beautiful with great views, and the owner is incredibly responsive, which is always a plus. Downstairs can get a bit chilly, but that was nice in the summer because it was warm, and it looks like they have a wood-burning stove down there for the winter, so everyone should be set! The only note I have is that we thought the sofas pulled out, since they were listed as beds, but they do not. I probably should’ve asked and clarified. There was an air mattress that we made work though, so just keep that in mind. I would not hesitate to book this place again. Everything was great overall! Oh…and the spa is massive!!!

Spiffy Golf Course Home

This is such a convenient, clean and well-appointed home on the golf course at Anderson Island. We appreciated all the thoughtful amenities, the comfortable beds and the kitchen filled with all the essentials and more. It is really a bonus to be able to use the Riviera Golf Club amenities (though noise sensitive travelers may want to bring ear plugs as the lawn machines started up outside the bedroom at 7 a.m. most mornings.) Carolynne was a most gracious host, quick to respond to all messages. Anderson Island is truly a magical place and we hope to return soon.

Perfect Father’s Day weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at Anderson Island!! Lots of golf, walks, swimming, games, beach combing, and getting amazing food at the nearby restaurant. The house was perfect for two families with small kids, they loved walking around the property, having s'mores by the fire, and putting on the course. The beds were comfortable, kitchen fully equipped, and the host was amazing and always responded to any questions we had! We will definitely be back!

We fell in love with the lush greenery, exceptional public school system, access to the Puget Sound beaches and several lakes, local wineries and casinos, hiking trails, historical landmarks, and so much more.

Why they chose this property

We stumbled across this island treasure when looking for a vacation home for our extended family. We wanted something a little more "off the grid" with access to beaches and stunning views, but still with some of the conveniences of home. Anderson Island checked all of our boxes.

What makes this property unique

Our place is in walking distance to the Riviera Golf Course (we're on the nineth hole), Lake Josephine, Riviera Lakeshore Restaurant offering great food, full bar, entertainment and more! Several parks and hiking trails are also close by.

Lounge in our oversize swim spa overlooking the gold course or enjoy the views from our spacious sunroom. Play ping pong, corn hole, a variety of board games, or relax and watch movies on our 2 large screen TVs.

If BBQs are on the agenda, we've got you covered. We have a new Weber propane grill at your disposal and a cozy picnic table with color-adjustable lighting overhead to set any mood.
