Very nice town and stay we had there alot of parks around and we drove to other parks and enjoyed the scenic views of our drives to other ativities there
The location was ideal! Close to everything we needed and wanted to do while in Thomas. We loved the layout of the tiny home- the shower was great!! We will return- hopefully during the fall.
Great place to stay, close to Thomas shops, Davis, Canaan Valley resort, Blackwater falls, canyon, and shops. Will be back again.Aussie man is the best.
We enjoyed our 3-night stay here. It was the perfect location to explore the surrounding areas of Davis, Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, Canaan Valley, and Dolly Sods. The house was perfectly located with parking in front, and we could walk to all the shops and restaurants in the town of Thomas. The house had everything to make us comfortable, and the host was very responsive. Would highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed here in mid-April for a spring getaway for a few days. We absolutely loved the home's proximity to trails, including those at Blackwater Falls State park. The home was just what we needed - cozy and centrally located. Our host was excellent and very responsive when we reached out. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to future visits!
This property is cozy and much nicer than some of the other houses in the area. Definitely would recommend this one and it is guest friendly & accomodating! The street can be quite busy but it was a holiday weekend. Had the best seat in town for the fireworks and live music in ear shot. Highly recommend and the host was very attentive and very informative !!!
Great central location to food, art and entertainment in Thomas. Cool shops and close to good hikes at Blackwater, Canaan . Xcountry skiing at Whitegrass was outstanding! Also pretty close to Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods and a bunch of wild country.
Very well kept and nicely decorated, perfect size for a few nights stay. Nice little town, close to hiking and breweries. Property manager was communicative and house was well stocked
We had a great time. The house is quiet, but located right by multiple restaurants and attractions in Thomas. It's less than a 15 minute drive to Blackwater Falls and the Dolly Soda are about a half hour away. Great for resting, relaxing, and getting out in nature!
The house was in a great location. You could walk to the shops in Thomas, and you were a short drive away from Davis and Blackwater falls. The house was very clean. Great communication with the owner. The only complaint I have was that the bed was not very comfortable. Besides that, we had a great stay in the house!
I stayed here while I was attending an online conference and it was perfect! WiFi was very reliable and the home had everything I needed for my stay. Host was very responsive to any questions I had. Thomas was the perfect location for taking short hikes during breaks in the conference.
Property was clean and well maintained. Directions for check-in and out were very clear and received in a timely manner. Area was nicely located for access to many outdoor activities and restaurants. Only complaint was that some of the items that were supposed to be stocked, like coffee and tissues, were not. There was a grocery store close by where we were able to pick up these items. Thanks for a great stay.
Great lodgings, neat patio with a great spread of wildflowers. Just minutes from the shopping district and the hiker biker trails. Convenient to the Purple Fiddle as well for live music. Definitely planning on staying again.
We hiked every day. We happened to be there on the weekend of 4th of July and fireworks were right out our front deck. Restaurants are walking distance. Clean and perfect for what we wanted.
The house was spotless. Clean room and house.. It was almost like we were the first to stay there. The host was great. We have stayed woth him before and he texted us early in the morning to check on us and answered all my questions. Great hostThe house has everything. Kitchen, laundry. Grill, fire, Tv, heat, wifi, etc. Cant go wrong..fireplace inside and outside. The only con is it is a little loud. You will hear every car. My girlfriend and i are decent sleepers. Not super heavy sleepers but we had no issues. Living in Eglon nefore, it kinda brought some peacefulness to meYou would think purple fiddle being visual from the home would lead to a lot of noise. They had 2 concerts and we didnt hear any unless you crossed the road. The insulation is pretty good. The noise comes through the window. Was plenty hot or cold for us. Ac worked well. The bathroom eas spotless and cleanThe location is unbeatable. If you're a couple or a small family. This is a perfect spotParking is right in front. Never had an issue with itI can't think of one con. The location allows you to easily access Blackwater, Davis, Canaan. Eglon, Aurora, Oakland, and of course Thomas. Also, tbis isnt a big guy. This is a local. Make sure to support the little guys. This man deserves it. Every time. Host and home are fantastic
The tiny home was cute and cozy, conveniently located to shops and restaurants, and very clean. The property manager was in contact incase anything was needed.
