Pick your Season Pick your Fun at Season Livin’! Come experience wild, wonderful, West Virginia year round at Deerfield Village Resort in beautiful Canaan Valley! Create your adventure or just come for a relaxing getaway- either way this is the perfect spot for you!
You will enjoy a fully equiped, cozy , 1 bedroom loft condo with a King Size bed, en-suite full bathroom upstairs and a 1/2 bath downstairs. We provide a fully stocked kitchen, coffee bar, wood burning fireplace, and deck with a grill. For additional sleeping needs there is a queen sleeper sofa.
Deerfield Village Resort is unique to the area boasting a large pool, catch and release fishing pond, play ground, basketball court, tennis court, sand volleyball, lovely circle for walking/riding bikes, and onsite BBQ restaurant.
Located on Bensland road, we are just off the main road from the local gas station/convenient mart and putt putt golf course.
Create your adventure with all the activities Canaan Valley has to offer - hiking, biking, mountain biking, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, tubing, golfing, swimming, fishing, walking, off-roading, hunting, rafting, paddleboarding and more!
Need to just get away? Come sit and enjoy the view with a good book, unwind while taking a peaceful walk in the resort or on one of the areas many nature trails. You can also lay by the pool, take a bike ride, enjoy the scenery, or take a short drive to Davis/ Thomas for some local shopping and cuisine.
We are located 10 minutes from Timberline Ski Resort and Canaan Valley State Park & Resort; 15mins to the quaint mountain towns of Davis WV and Thomas WV; 20 mins to Blackwater Falls; 30 mins to Seneca Rocks; 30 mins to Dolly Sods Wildnerness Area; 1 hr to Spruce Knob Mountain (highest ridge of Allegheny Mountains); 40 mins to Elkins, WV ( Forest Festival) and 45 mins to Smoke Hole Caverns.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location was perfect for our trip, making it easy to get around while still feeling quiet and relaxing. Megan was a great host: responsive, helpful, and easy to work with from start to finish. Home base for hiking

Excellent place to stay in the Canaan Valley with numerous hiking opportunities within close driving distance. Due to significant allergies, we needed a smoke free, pet free place and this one fit the bill perfectly. Property is in great condition and well stocked with everything you need. Very clean; just a bit off the main road and well insulated so fairly quiet. Owners were helpful and responsive to questions. If in the area again, we would stay here, except in midsummer since there is no AC.

Winter Break

I had the most wonderful stay at this property with my two teenagers! As a single mom, it’s important to find a place that’s comfortable, convenient, and welcoming – and this home exceeded all of our expectations. It was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay after a day on the slopes.I grew up skiing, and it was a special moment to teach my kids how to snowboard for the first time. The location was perfect, making it easy to get to the resort. The warmth of the home was exactly what we needed after a day in the snow. A November stay in a cozy West Virginia condo

We arrived after dark but there were lights to greet us. The fireplace was cozy and warm as was the condo! We don’t usually watch television but did enjoy some British shows! We had hoped to see the full moon and stars but the weather was cloudy. We enjoyed hiking at the Canaan Valley Wildlife Refuge and Canaan Valley State Park. The misty weather made for mystical views! We cooked in the condo that had all of the kitchen amenities one would need. Megan was easy to reach and responsive to our questions!

My husband Devin and I love the Canaan Valley area. I grew up coming here as a child and my parents live in Canaan 6 months out of the year. We are born and raised in WV, currently living just south of Pittsburgh. Enjoying hiking, wildlife, skiing, golfing, and eating at the local restaurants in Davis and Thomas are some of what we love about coming here.
We love sharing our home with others and hope you enjoy making memories here just as much as we have.

We chose Deerfield Village Resort because it is a one of a kind location in Canaan Valley. It is the only location besides the lodge that has a pool, onsite restaurant, catch&release pond, basketball &volleyball court, walking circle, and on-site restaurant.
