We are owners, not investors - and it shows in our reviews. Newly updated in November 2019, Unit #517 provides floor to ceiling glass with panoramic views of the sandy white beaches and the blue green waters of the Gulf of Mexico as far as the eye can see! Whether you are looking for fun in the sun or a relaxing low key get away, our home away from home is your perfect vacation destination.
When you book with us, you get us! No answering services or message centers. You get my cell phone number and talk directly to the owners. We pride ourselves in being very responsive and ensuring we exceed your expectations.
Located in one of the newest complexes on the Gulf Coast, The Lighthouse offers amenities like none other in the area. Our guests enjoy two oversized zero entry pools with fountains perfect for little ones to play in, as well as hot tubs on either end of the Gulf facing property and two BBQ grilling areas. The Gulf fronting workout facility allows the most dedicated travelers to enjoy a breathtaking view while completing a workout or relaxing in the sauna.
Inside, our open floor plan offers beach views from the kitchen and living room, as well as the Master Suite! Our flexible floor plan allows additional guests to settle in our cozy bunk room with twin/twin professionally built-in bunk beds or snuggle up on the brand new queen size sofa bed with memory gel foam mattress to enjoy a late night movie or an early morning sunrise. There is an additional full bath located directly across the hall from the bunk room to accommodate larger families.
We purchased all new furniture for the living room including the queen size sleeper sofa, bar stools and custom swivel chairs. Oh, and TV's too! Our guests enjoy a 55 inch Smart HD TV in the den and a 37 inch in the Master Suite. The bunk room also has a 19 inch tv as well. Our keyless entry system is designed for easy access for all guests. We send you the door code prior to arrival. Simply save it in your phone or access it from the hospitality tab of your reservation. No more losing keys or juggling trips back up to the condo!
Balcony access from the Master Suite allows guests to enjoy an early morning sunrise or a breathtaking evening sunset from the comfort of our king sized bed. Off the Master Suite you will pass through a dressing area with double vanity sinks and a full walk in closet with a dresser before entering the master bath complete with a full size, jetted, Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower.
You will find everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal including small and large appliances, a crock pot, a knife block, dinnerware, cookware, utensils and most importantly a blender, regular coffee maker, Keurig K-Mini and a wine opener!
For your convenience we have a full size washer and dryer and iron/ironing board inside the condo and wireless internet is always complimentary. In addition to routine cleanings we have our condo professionally cleaned from top to bottom twice a year to ensure it's always in tip top shape!

**Effective 3/1/20 to add an additional layer of security and to ensure our common areas are maintained and used for our guests only, guests ages 12 and older will be required to wear red wristbands inside our gated common areas. Red wristbands can be found in a bowl on the kitchen counter upon arrival. Please return the wrist bands to the bowl in the kitchen upon departure. If you need additional wrist bands please proceed to the office on the 2nd floor. Wristbands must be worn from March - October - our busiest season - to ensure the exclusivity of our resort. Thank you for your cooperation in this regard!**
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: (if you're question is not answered here, please feel free to email me)
1. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, wash cloths and a few throw blankets. Please bring your own beach towels.
2. What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with 1 paper towel roll, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 soap per bathroom, 1 mini dish detergent, 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry detergent pod, 1 kitchen trash bag and 1 trash liner per bathroom.
3. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen plus a blender, toaster, slow cooker, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a Keurig, and a regular coffee pot. We also provide salt, pepper and sugar.
4. Do you provide a grill? – There are charcoal grills on the East and West side of the property.
5. Do you allow pets? – No. Under no circumstances do we allow pets. Service animals are accepted with accompanying paperwork.
6. What amenities are on site? – We have 3 pools, two hot tubs, a sauna and a gym. The two outdoor pools are olympic sized and the indoor pool is heated.
7. When is final payment due? - 45 days before check in, no exceptions.
8. Can we split payments? – Yes, you make request two or three payment plan.
9. When will I get the address and condo access info? - Address, door code, and helpful hints about Gulf Shores will be sent in a separate email after final payment is made. The door code will be sent the day before your arrival date.
10. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4pm and you must checkout prior to 10am on the day of your departure. Late check out fees do apply.
11. How do cancellations work? - Cancellations or shortened stays that are made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date will be fully refunded. Cancellations or changes that are made within 14 and 30 days before check-in, will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise, changes or cancellations made 14 days prior to arrival date are non-refundable.
12. Do you provide travel insurance? - If cancellation is a concern, we recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection from CSA (this does not go through us). CSA can be reached at 1-800-349-8218.
13. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? – Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded unless it is a Category 1 or above named hurricane. See Rental Agreement.
14. What TV package / channels do you provide? – We have a SMART TV and provide the highest package that our cable provider has.
15. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide unlimited cable internet with Wi-Fi. Password is provided with check in information.
16. Do you ever reduce the stated prices – On occasion, if upcoming unsold dates remain, we may reduce prices for those unsold dates. That will already be reflected in the pricing that you see here.
17. Are there any days where Check-in or Check-out is not permitted? - The only 2 days that we do not allow check-in or check-out is Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
18. What amenities do you provide in the condo? - Guests are free to use our family friendly games, and DVDs.
19. What additional items should we bring: - pool towels, sunscreen, goggles, extra paper towels, toilet paper, trash liners, paper plates, seasonings, foil or ziplock bags.
20. Ice?- The Lighthouse has an ice machine in the parking garage on your way to the beach. It accepts credit cards.
21. Parking? - Two parking spaces are available per reservation. Parking passes must be purchased from security upon arrival. The cost is $50/car (effective 3/01/2024 $50/car), the pass is good for the duration of your stay. “Parking Pass Cost is Subject to Change Without Notice”.
