Come enjoy the serenity of our cottage! It is tucked in the maritime forest with lots of privacy but convenient to all the islands amenities. Our community has a pool for your enjoyment and less than a 2 min golf cart ride to the beach! We have an open floor plan with the master and guest bedrooms downstairs and an additional private bedroom upstairs. The kitchen has been recently updated with new appliances. We have a great sunroom, screened in porch, and wrap around deck that is perfect for outdoor entertaining. We have 2- 4 passenger golf carts and a Lifestyle Temporary membership to the BHI club can be purchased separately. This home is pet friendly. Please note that we do charge a $350 plus tax pet fee that is non-refundable.

It was a great place, the house was clean. And nice. Only thing that we encountered was the air conditioning. To keep it comfortable up stair , we had to keep the air down and it made the up stairs too cold. Otherwise a beautiful place

Wonderful place to stay!

This was a beautiful home tucked in the woods in Ibis Roost Cottages. It really had a private feel to it and was beautifully decorated inside. It was great having a bathroom for each bedroom and the upstairs room was much bigger than you can see in the pictures. We have stayed at many different locations on the island through the years and this was one of our favorites....the house and the location! And the golf carts were probably the best we have had in our years of coming which really add to the experience of your time at BHI. Highly recommend this home for families or couples.

Fantastic cottage on Beautiful BHI

The cottage is wonderful with a prime location in the middle of the island. Brand new golf cart was great. The service from BHI services was outstanding and very rapid! Hope to stay here again during our next visit to BHI!

We Love Bald Head

The house was a pretty good set-up for our family. One drawback was the kitchen, it was a bit small when trying to prepare meals together (you can really only have one person working in there at a time). We loved having the pool in the community that is a great bonus. The home did have several bugs through out but I understand in the forest its going to happen from time to time. Overall we loved the home.

Nice Weekend on BHI

This property is well furnished and decorated, and has the needed beach / island supplies (bikes, coolers, chairs, etc.). Golf carts also in good shape (only one has rain flaps). Ample space upstairs for kiddos; only issue being the main upstairs mattress was sunken in on one side. All in a nice place and would stay again.

Lovely Cottage in the Oaks

Our only negative experience was frustration with the TV. It was so complicated that we never got it to work. Even your staff worked tirelessly to assist but never functioned. We did get to see Netflix so enjoyed movies but really wanted to stay informed with network and be able to see football. Rest of experience excellent

Our family loves this place. The ease of Ibis Roost in location and amenities allows the freedom for teens and pre-teens and getting wherever you need on the island.

bald head trip

The house location was very good. One golf cart was great. The other golf cart had an old electric wire with bare threads and a sharp rusty metal piece at our legs. We covered it with a shirt. There were no restaurants open on Monday and Tuesday. Jules Restaurant served frozen foods to us. The island itself is beautiful and quiet. There was a roach in the downstairs bedroom. We are DVC members and so expect a lot on our vacations. (Disney) All people were pleasant.

We are on island 24/7 and would have been more than happy to assist in any issues with the golf cart. We have never had this feedback at this home. We touch base with all renters during their stay and this was not mentioned over our check in. The restaurant openings and food quality are not items that should reflect our personal rating on our home. They are a separate entity from us with varied hours that are made on their own. We wish we could have helped better your experience.

Cozy comfortable house minutes from beach...

We came for a week with family and found the house to be a relaxing place to unwind and visit with one another. The beds are very comfortable and it was a nice surprise to see the interior had been updated since the listing photos had been taken. We all enjoyed our stay!

Great Location but a bit on the older side

The house was great and the Ibis neighborhood is a great location right around the corner from Maritime Market and easy to get to beaches in all directions. It was nice to have two golf carts and the garage had bikes, beach chairs, frisbee, umbrella which was great. The beds were comfortable and the decor was very nice. Great front porch, big huge room upstairs. The only downside is the kitchen - it is very small - one person at a time and you cannot open the fridge and have the dishwasher open at the same time. The kitchen drawers are old and falling apart and the cupboards could be more organized and clean. It was very nice to have a community pool a short walk from the house. The house is tucked back down a driveway that leads to two houses. When the tram dropped us off we didn't know where to go but finally figured it out. Late Sept. is a great time to visit BHI as we had no neighbors to our left or our right.

Better than the photos!

This was the 4th time renting on the island and we were thrilled! We needed pet friendly in case my brothers dog came (she did not) and you would never have known it was pet friendly. It was so clean (sometimes pet friendly rentals are not) and the house has been updated since the photos were taken. It was beautifully appointed and had 2 golf carts, 4 bikes, beach chairs and basically everything you could want. The neighborhood pool saved the day since the BHI club was sold out of guest pool memberships. I will rent here again!

A little slice of heaven

Loved staying here so much we are coming back with friends next week :) This home is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Well stocked with good beach chairs and bikes (which is hard to come by!) We loved the location and cozy feel of being hidden in the maritime forest! Definitely would recommend

Wonderful family trip

Traveled with my husband, our 4 YO and my Dad. Great property for our group, could have easily accommodated another family. There is a great sunroom that would be fun for kids too. Location is excellent right in the middle of the island. Awesome community pool and around the corner from the Market.

birthday weekend

Beautiful home nestled in the maritime forest and convenient to the Maritime Market, the beaches, and nature trails. An extra perk, although being February we didn't use it, is the small development has a very nice swimming pool. I enjoyed celebrating my 70th birthday with family on Bald Head Island in this lovely home.

Great location

We had a great stay at the Cottage in the Oaks. The location in the middle of island made for easy access to beach, harbor, and market. The cottage was well-appointed and had everything we needed, although some things could use a little more cleaning or sprucing up (ceiling fans, scratched toilet seats, slow/non-draining sinks, etc.). We will be back!

Family vacation

We love Bald Head Island and stay every year in this particular neighborhood. All of the beach chairs were broken, no beach towels at all, 2 coffee makers were broken, several drinking glasses were cracked or chipped, and the brakes on one of the golf carts didn’t work well. In spite of these things, we enjoyed our stay and will return!
