It is a good place, it was dusty and hot inside when we arrived. The vacuum didn’t work too o pick up any dust so I opened all windows for fresh air the whole day and it felt much better. The property had a fun game room for our kids with a ping pong table, air hockey, and outdoor Jenga. My kids and us adults also enjoy watching a movie, playing card games, and playing pool in the basement. The place is close to trails and the town for easy access, but closer to the highway and travel noise then I prefer.
Close to Cedar City but away from the city bustle. Great hikes nearby. Accommodated three couples well. Could be cleaner, owner needs to replace light bulbs and a bathroom faucet but overall a good experience. We would stay there again.
The location was nice, especially for traveling up to Panguitch, Bryce, etc. The cabin had all the essentials and was comfortable. Since the cabin is older, the floors were slightly sloped due to the foundation, which is not uncommon for older mountain homes. It was not an issue for us, just something we joked about, but could be a problem for anyone with physical mobility disabilities. The 'campground' on the prperty is right across the driveway to the cabin, so there are really close neighbors. The close neighbors were not a problem for our stay, and never had any problems with any of the campers.
Overall, we would recommend the property to anyone, with the noted concerns, and we would not hesitate to stay at the property again, when in the area.
Thanks!
Our stay at this cabin was wonderful! It was exactly as described. Super spacious inside and lots of out door space. With walking trails and hiking close by. Communication with the host was so easy as well. I would definitely stay here again. And the private little suite included in this rental was awesome too!
Lots of separate areas for families to spread out. Comfortable and homey. Well equipped kitchen and large dining table. Kitchen space is tight for multiple cooks and several people in the kitchen. A couple of the bedrooms do not have any closets or enough hanging space. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed staying there with 3 related families.
We were visiting Ceder City for a Mountain Bike race and this cabin was perfect for us! We had two families staying together and there was plenty of beds and plenty of space to spread out! there was even a little hall where we were able to place our bikes to keep them safe and out of the weather! We will definitely look for this place again when we go back!

This place was awesome to stay at!! My kids loved it and wanted to stay forever
Beautiful area, centralized spot and great base to get out in the mountains and back to town
We had a great time and are very thankful for this property, it’s cleanliness and functionality for us was perfect…
Close enough to town, groceries and restaurants and just far enough out to feel right…
Ping pong table and game room were also appreciated and we had no issues at all with the check-in process and management team…
Thank you again for a great weekend!
We stayed here with extended family and it was perfect! The yard was great for the kids and had a fantastic view. The cabin was nicely furnished and the rec room across the street was fun. There were a lot of nice touches like the swing set down the street and the games and movies downstairs. We have already talked about most likely coming back here again next year. There were rv’s near our cabin but they did not bother us at all or detract from the view.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The house itself has some weird nuances and not comfortable (the house is on a slant that you can visibly see) and the beds and pillows are terrible. But at least for what we were using it for (a basecamp for mountain biking), it does the job. Having said this, we were horribly disappointed to see after we got there, that they converted the front half of the property into a overnight stay trailer park! This once beautiful piece of property that provided so much privacy and seclusion, now felt like you were in a KOA camp site. They ruined it sadly. Like I said, for a basecamp and if you're not really planning on being at the property much, it works fine (although now that all of the privacy and beauty is gone, feels very overpriced). But if you're looking for a true family place or a comfortable getaway, this is not for you. We won't be staying here again.
Our family stayed for most of a week to spend time near Zion's. The property itself gave my kids who had never experienced the Bryce/Zion experience some fun places to hike and see. The cabin itself is not new, but the main areas have been updated nicely so it feels very comfortable. We had a minor issue with one thing and I was very impressed at the responsiveness of the owners who immediately worked to get things right for us. It's a place where you get more of an adventure than you would at a home or condo in St. George, so we enjoyed it.

Canyon Getaway
We stayed 2 nights and had a good time. The rustic feel was just what we were expecting. The kitchen was nicely stocked with basic needs. There were plenty of towels and the travel-size toiletries were an unexpected perk. Our teenagers loved the pool table and the variety of board games. There is a noticeable slant to the cabin, ultimately it just added to the charm. Our stay was during the off-season, so I'm guessing some of the minor maintenance issues will be resolved over the next couple of weeks - like a few burnt-out light bulbs, dusty bathroom vents, and a few cobwebs.
The setting of this property is fabulous if you are looking for views, outdoor space, and the amenities of a house. The separate studio apartment was cool for a couple to have their space. The house sleeps 9 (not 12 like advertised)--There was a cot to pop up, but I don't consider that a sleeping arrangement--still only puts it at 10. The kitchen had good ammenities.
The kids enjoyed the pool table and there is a ping pong table in the office. The help was there when we needed anything, unfortunately we needed a lot. There were dirty towels from the last guests in a pile on the bathroom floor, the bathroom fan upstairs was DISGUSTING. There was no extra toilet paper in any of the 3 bathrooms. There were no extra garbage bags. The pod coffee maker was missing the pod filter piece. The king room had electrical hanging out for the ceiling fan/light, so you couldn't have the fan on and light off. No fan in the downstairs bathroom. Lots of broken things hanging off walls.
The strangest part was that the entire house is sinking to one side--like noticably. There is a crack in the basement ceiling and it is almost like a fun house ramp. The people were nice.
It was really great place to have fun with your family and friends in nature.
Just having the windows cleaned and have an electric kettle would be good suggestions.
Loved the knotty pine ceilings and walls throughout the cabin. Nicely furnished kitchen. Very comfortable furniture. Plenty of room to spread out, both inside and outside the cabin. Nice grass backyard with two picnic tables. Fun pool table and tv area in the basement. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
My parents use to live on this beautiful property, and we were so grateful that my cousin bought the property and turned it in to an AirBNB so all of our family can continue to make me memories at the beautiful place in the mountains! My children grew up going to grandma and grandpa’s, and now my grandchildren will be able to continue to go and enjoy the peacefulness of this place. It is absolutely amazing, and the views are wonderful! What a treasure for our family to be able to continue going and staying in a place we have always loved!
Beautiful and cozy cabin! Perfect for our family trip! Great communication with the host. Location was perfect for our trip. I would book this cabin again.

Why they chose this property
Although we have spent most of our time in the St. George/Zion area, we fell in love with this site when we first saw it, and its potential to be a home away from home for visitors.
What makes this property unique
Lots of activities on property at our community game room: This space is shared with our RV Guests and is not private to the Cabin rental. Pool table, games and our own trails. Free wi-fi and smart TVs. On the property is an authentic wheelwright shop where a previous owner made wagon wheels for pioneer re-enactments which is now used as a community rec room with a ping pong, air hockey and pool table (shared with RV guests).
