This 3rd floor 2 bedroom condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay at Mountain Lodge. We love the accessibility to the slopes and the general location. This condo has 2 bedrooms and my kids love that they each had their own be
This condo is as close to the Village as you can get without staying at Allegheny Springs/Rimfire/Seneca. Everything you need is in the room. Communication and check in was easy. Would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at the condo at ML. It’s so convenient to the slopes with kids. We got a locker so that we don’t have to carry all our gear to the room. The room was clean and was just as described in the listing. Our favorite part was the large wrap around couch that was able to hold all of us comfortably. We had everything we needed to cook meals in the kitchen. The showers were hot and the beds comfortable. My girls were happy to each have their own bed in the second bedroom.
My two adult kids and I prefer a ski on / ski off property and this was awesome. The best part is the second bedroom had two beds! Kitchen was well set up with pots and pans and dishes and coffee maker and toaster. In all likelihood, we'll stay there again next year if it's available!
Property as described. Nothing fancy, but cozy and extremely convenient. Kids and I had fun on slopes for two days. Very nice to walk right off lift into lodge for breaks or food. At busy times, restaurants can be impossible to get into (1.5-2hr wait), but that has nothing to do with lodging. Communication with owner easy and efficient. Would stay again.
Not only is this building close to the slopes, but the room itself is almost as close as you can get. Walk down 2 sets of stairs then you are skiing. The room was clean and had plenty of room to rest after a day of skiing. The building itself has a ton of common space to hangout too.
The room is older, but perfectly clean and functional. The pool is also $15 per person.

Family Fun
While this unit is serviceable, it could benefit from an update. Its very basic. The kitchen faucet was broken and difficult to use. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, but that meant there was no place to put food items. The curtains need to be fixed or replaced. And it would benefit from a bench outside the door where one could take off ski boots so that water isn't tracked all over the condo floors. Many other units have a bench outside the door. It should also be noted that the unit is very far from the elevator, but close to a steps that lead to an entrance with close access to the Ball Hooter lift.
We enjoyed our stay in ML 303. This room is in a quiet corner of the building (but a little further walk to slope side). Our only complaint was that we are a family if 5 and there were only 4 kitchen chairs to sit at the table. (Also I couldn’t find a hot pad/oven mitt.) Otherwise the unit was very clean and well supplied and we had a comfortable, enjoyable stay.
The only reason I only go to 98% is because of the fun pass and other activities. If you are biking primarily and have a season pass then this is not an issue. If, as I did this visit, bring a bunch of small kids that aren't going to bike, you will have to pay for these passes out of pocket, as opposed to them being free when booking through Snowshoe proper.
Everything else was great!
This place was fantastic! The location was perfect, the amenities were great, and the check-in process was seamless. Everything was clean and comfortable, making for an enjoyable stay. The only minor feedback is that the decor feels a bit dated, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Would definitely stay here again!
It was just me, my son (18 yrs old) and one of his HS friends. We’ve stayed in ML numerous times, and this condo is nicely updated and well appointed. We think ML is one of the best locations on the mountain, as it’s centrally located to all the runs and the village. The host was fantastic. We’ll be back.

It was nice my only dislikes were the beds are very uncomfortable and the toilet are very low to the ground makes hard after you've been skiing all day long to bend down that far to go to the bathroom
The big bay windows are not in the room. They're 2 floors down in a lobby in the other end of the wing. The oven door cannot open unless you unplug the wifi. The wifi plug falls apart when it's unplugged and needs to be reassembled each time you want to plug it back in.
One of the main features I looked for was a balcony so we can smoke. The balcony had 3 feet of solid ice/snow and was pretty much unusable. The front desk refused to assist with the balcony ice or the huge block of ice building up outside the building exit. I was really expecting more.
The mountain lodge is going through some renovations. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the units with a new large balcony. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the lodge because of its great ski in/out location. The lodge is an older property but it is charming and they had the common area decorated with Christmas decorations.
