Owner was very responsive. Home was spacious. Plenty of kitchen dishes and cookware. Beach area is rocky, which is pretty typical around here, but does become sandy very quickly. There are many books, games, the pool table, and TV for rainy days. WiFi worked well. We had fun with the available kayaks!

This home was perfect for our group of eight. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well stocked. We spent much of our time outside where there's plenty of furniture and a nice fire pit. The house shows its age, but that's part of the charm; lots of knotty pine and dated furniture, but everything was clean and comfortable. It's a lakefront property, so don't be surprised by a few spider webs on the outside.

I rented this Burt Lake house for my husband’s 75th birthday. The house was spacious and met our basic needs, however, I’m not sure when the VRBO photos were taken as they were misleading and did not represent the current rental. The shoreline was overgrown with weeds and the house and yard needed TLC. There was mildew on the balcony and the hot tub I thought would be fun with friends, was actually in the master bathroom. There were a lot of personal items, photos, etc, in the house which made you feel like you were in someone’s home. After our checkout, the owner called me and accused us of things that were not true. Unfortunately this VRBO was not a good experience for us.

We are a group of middle-aged ice fishermen. So, this will not be an in depth, critique every little thing, kind of review. House was clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials. We had no issues checking in or checking out. we had a great time and would stay here again.

This is the perfect house for multiple families and the huge kitchen is a perfect gathering spot. Nick was very responsive and answered every question we had immediately. We absolutely loved our time here and plan on rebooking next year.

Nice home on the lake!

Great house and great location. House and yard is spacious with plenty of seating for all both inside and out. Property manager responded timely with any questions. Very comfortable four bedroom with a spare bed in basement.

Perfect place

Home was just as excellent as the yr before. Home owner was accessible prior to check in and after and was accommodating. Plenty of room for family's, kids, babies and trucks and trailers. Lake access was easy and bar and food down Rd topped the stay off.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It felt homey and welcoming. Plenty of space for the 10 of us. Everything was clean and the kitchen was so nice. Great family gathering space. Our grandchildren had a great time exploring, playing outside and splashing in the lake. Enjoyed a couple bonfires, too! Communication with Nick was great, he was super nice and quick to respond. Thank you!

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. Everything was as advertised. The kitchen/dining/living room area was great for the family to gather and interact. The lake is awesome and as a package hard to beat.

Weekend on the lake

We had a great stay on Burt Lake. The house was spacious and fit 14 comfortably. Plenty of bathrooms and kitchen space. We loved the lake. The house gets sun all day and the sunsets were amazing! Owner was great to work with, very attentive and helpful.

Spacious Property on Beautiful Lake

The property was very nice. Our family and friends had a great time both inside and outside the house. Plenty of space inside for folks to spread out. The yard and back porch were fun places to hang out and enjoy the views. There’s a nice little bar about 1-mile from the property. We definitely recommend staying here!
