Old Town Basalt Guest House

This unique guest cottage (1,000 sq. ft.) is located in Old Town Basalt. Tucked in the back yard of our home, it offers a neighborhood experience within walking distance
(4 min) to historic downtown Basalt and just steps away from hiking trails to Basalt Mountain and the Gold Medal Waters of the Frying Pan River. With private access and designated parking, this property is a special find as it was built by us with attention to detail and design. Mostly used as a private guest house for family and friends, we decided to open it up to guests and list it on VRBO. We are enjoying sharing this special spot with our guests! It offers one private bedroom upstairs with a king bed. There is additional sleeping space with two twin beds at the top of the stairway open to the hallway. The Bathroom and washer and dryer are also located upstairs. Downstairs features a fully equipped kitchen and living room with french doors opening to a patio and an additional sitting area overlooking the shared backyard and garden.
Shopping, hiking, biking, mountain biking, fly fishing, skiing, and dinning are all nearby. There is so much to do here, and we are happy to give you suggestions and point you in the right direction.
Please note that the guest house has a maximum capacity of 4, please respect this rule as we do not make exceptions.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• Minimum age requirement of 25 to rent this property and photo ID is required upon check- in.

• Check-in time 4:00PM, Check-out time 11:00AM

• Pets not permitted

• Large gatherings or parties are not permitted

• Smoking, vaping or recreational drugs are not permitted on premises.

• Cancellation policy: 50% refund if cancelled between 30-60 days of arrival, NO refund if cancelled less than 30 days of arrival

• We recommend you purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance to help protect you since NO REFUNDS if cancelled less than 30 days of arrival; inclusive of storms, road conditions or road closures.

• Damage deposit is refunded 14 days after departure; may take up to 7 business days to return to your account.
