My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Edisto. The Edisto Treehouse FEELS like a treehouse! It's quiet and charming. It's just a few blocks off the beach. We had a great time! We very much enjoyed our time!

Perfect place for us to vacation with my mom and our kids. Although about an hour or more from Charleston, it has perfect access to the beach and lovely nooks to kick back and relax.

The house and amenities were very nice. Very spacious 3 br, 2 ba. We had everything needed to cook and have fun downstairs. Short walk to the beach. The “sound” side of the island was tremendously calm water, great for me 2 yr old granddaughter who walked right into water. Will definitely be back and stay here.

The house was just perfect for our family and had everything one could think of when staying at the beach. Easy walk to the beach and so much fun playing games under the house. While we did not have any issues, the hosts were very attentive in case we did. We truly enjoyed our stay at Edisto!

Great, cozy spot for a small group

This is a quintessential beach cottage. It is tastefully decorated and the space is used very wisely. They provided plenty of convenient items ranging from a fully stocked kitchen, beach items, games, and outdoor furniture. Plenty of natural light fills the home during the day. We enjoyed hanging out under the house swinging on the swing while the kids used the scooters. Outdoor shower was a big plus for us! Would definitely book again.

Lovely home!

We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas of the house (eating breakfast on the deck upstairs and playing cards at the table downstairs at night). The house is on a quiet street and is a short walk to a part of the beach that is great for watching sunsets (due to being just west of the point). During the afternoon, we typically drove to beach access points a little further north due to the beach being wider there, but there is free, easy parking at most of the beach access points, and it's a very short drive. Make sure you pay attention to what is and isn't included - you need to bring or rent your linens (rental was easy through Edisto Essentials). We appreciated that the host provided info about recycling - there is a recycling center just down the road where you can drop it off (but it's only open two days a week). We had a great stay and definitely recommend this spot!

June Edisto Visit

This property was absolutely wonderful! The check in process was so easy! It said the property does not allow pets however she let us bring our sweet well behaved non shedding golden doodle for an extra fee to accommodate the family. Upon arrival, the “kids” room had blanket mermaid tails, tons of kid books, a few toys, and many board games that we all enjoyed playing on the rainy days! The kitchen was well equipped with cooking items for family home meals. The dryer quit working while we were down there and the host promptly texted me, sent a repair man out which was unable to repair it, so her husband drove over the next day to accommodate us with a working dryer! So many outside toys and beach toys available for us to use for the kids. We biked all over the island every day as well as visited the beach daily which is a very short walk. The porch is perfect, quiet, and private amongst many live Oaks. This was the perfect property on Edisto! Aimee even left a beautiful candle that smells amazing which was such a nice touch! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Edisto!!
