True original oceanfront Edisto cottage on front beach, with screen porch facing the ocean, and sundeck facing the street. Enjoy the rocking chairs and also an eating/ gaming table on the porch (4 rocking chairs and table with 4 chairs on screen porch).
One full bath upstairs with walk-in shower, and a full beach bath downstairs (shower only).
Extra clean and well maintained.

Large screen TV in living area & small TV in front bedroom

Charcoal Grill

Linens & bath towels are included.

House rents from Saturday to Saturday.

We do not provide beach chairs - there are places on Edisto where you can rent them.

Small pets considered (must be under 35#s) - pet fee is $175/week for 1st pet & $75/week for each additional pet!

The Sanders' home was exactly as advertised. We had a wonderful week there. The kitchen has everything one could need, the beds comfy, the screened in deck on the beach serene. We've been to Edisto Beach several times, but this is the first time we've stayed at this property. We would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone looking to vacation on Edisto Beach.

The home was absolutely wonderful! Our family spent a week enjoying beautiful Edisto while experiencing the very best of beach front blessings. The home was inviting, comfortable and had everything we needed for our family vacation. The ocean front back porch was absolutely dreamy and perfect for melting stress gazing at the waves. Just steps away from the beach which we all loved. The hosts were so kind and provided thoughtful hospitality. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Truly enjoyed our time here. My elderly parents spent a lot of time on the screened in porch and were able to go to the beach because it was such a short walk. We brought our dogs and they loved the beach. Bring k cups for the coffee maker and dish soap. Linens and towels provided were good quality. Mattresses are probably due for replacement. Ice maker didn’t work, but there were ice trays to fill. Excellent outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) and hose pipe for cleaning up after the beach. We loved the house. It was very cozy. Bring a radio if you need one. Roku tvs we’re very nice, equipped with YoutubeTV so we could watch our gamecocks plays.

Oceanfront Cottage

Tiny, clean cottage perfectly situated by the sea. Great views and relaxing screened porch. Kitchen well equipped; nice linens and towels provided. We enjoyed our stay!

Great shower, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen utensils, beautiful views of ocean, sunrises & sunsets. Great beach access. Bathroom could use a new sink & mirror, but overall we LOVED it! Hope to be back soon!

Great Week

We had a lovely week staying here. The screened porch was wonderful with the rockers and cushions. We enjoyed lunch at the outdoor table on the screen porch. The beach access was perfect. The view was gorgeous.

Great beach vacation!

We had a fantastic time, couldn’t have picked a better location on Edisto island. The cottage was clean, cozy and outfitted with linens. Edisto island is a simple beach town where you can bike to everything. It’s near perfection for a relaxed beach vacation. The owners were extremely responsive and easy to work with… we will definitely be back!

Lovely Beach Cottage!

This lovely beach cottage was perfectly situated on Edisto Beach. Quiet location with an empty beach right outside your door morning and evening. Very clean and comfortable. Ther perfect size for our family of four. Will stay there again in future!

Beautifal cottage and location.

Cottage was wonderful. It was nice waking up to the sunrise every morning. We took the boat out on Big Bay Creek and caught loads of Speckled sea trout. Can't wait to go back.

This bungalow was very well appointed with great furnishings. I spent many hours on the screened patio watching the ocean. It was very quiet location. The hosts were very good communicators and addressed concerns quickly. Would highly recommend

Very nice!

We enjoyed our stay here... The house is cute and although others labeled it "dated", I think of it as more "nostalgic"... It had everything we needed and sitting on the screened in porch looking at the ocean was my favorite part!

Great week at the beach!

We love Edisto and especially this perfect cottage right on the beach. Our most favorite part is the screened-in porch where we can hear the surf and watch those amazing sunrises. We have been coming here for years and will continue.

Lovely home right on the beach…

My husband, my pup, and me enjoyed a very relaxing week at Edisto Beach. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable with soft linens, and the screened in porch was amazing- we were right at the ocean. Can’t wait to stay again in the future!

Great winter beach trip

Perfect location right on the beach with screened back porch with view of beautiful sunrise & sounds of surf. Loved waking to the orange-pink sunrise in south-facing bedroom. Everyday was a beautiful start with breakfast on porch facing beach.

Anniversary trip

We love this cottage - the porch is the place to be! Stayed here many years back but group got too big. Came back for 40th anniversary and had a wonderful March week. Owners we’re very responsive and thoughtful. Totally recommend!

Beach front

Good Internet connection, nice tv. Perfect place for me to sit and paint, and my husband to watch the ancient aliens tv show. Walks on the beach and seafood made it a very low key, relaxing two weeks

We have been coming to Edisto since we were young children. We would spend the summers here with our parents. Now our children and grandchildren love to visit. We feel very lucky that the island has not changed a lot over the years and is still a family beach. Our family has always loved Edisto and we are fortunate that our cottages have withstood many storms.

Why they chose this property

Our grandfather purchased this property in 1939. The first cottage was built in 1955 and his cottage in 1957. After his death in 1973, his cottage was remodeled, and we started renting it. By having our personal cottage next door, we can make sure everything is working and well maintained. We would love to share our cottage with you!

What makes this property unique

Cottage is right on the ocean - sunrises and sunsets are awesome from the screen porch! Screen porch is great for eating, reading, playing cards or games, or just watching the ocean. Keep a lookout for porpoises!
This is a small family beach with great seafood straight from the Atlantic. There are many wonderful seafood restaurants on Edisto if you decide to eat out.
Botany Bay is a treasure not to be missed (visit at low tide).
