We spent a full month in this beautiful traditional house in St Malo. Our party consisted of 3 adults, 1 five-year old child and a senior dog. The house is super well equipped, in the kitchen you can find everything you need (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, all the utensils you need), is cozy and ideally situated close to the beach (10 minutes on foot) and within a walking distance to Intramuros but also very close to the bus stop for the days on which we didn't feel like walking. Our host was very attentive, gave us valuable information on what to visit and where to go as it was our first time in Bretagne. There were 2 files with information and suggestions which we really appreciated as there was advice on where to walk with the dog and which restaurants to visit. The communication was smooth and easy.Across from the house is a great bakery, the market of Rocebey with its wonderful local produce and a grocery shop. The bigger supermarkets are also very close by.St Malo is a gorgeous town as well as its surroundings and there is a lot to discover.We recommend the house whole-heartedly!

Great place + perfect location

The house is tidy and nice as shown on the pictures. The location close to old town, the sea, stores and market is perfect. A wonderful choice to stay in pretty St. Malo!

Characterful house in good location. The house had everything we needed and was located within 10 mins walk of a lovely sandy beach (Sillon plage) and similar distance to restaurants. There was a Carrefour less than 5 mins walk from the house which had a good variety of groceries, and an excellent boulangerie a stone's throw away. Francoise was a very helpful host and responsive to any issues we had the main one being the washing machine malfunctioning. She arranged for the repair man to call promptly and the issue was resolved. The house itself is quirky. One of the bedrooms is accessed via the bathroom and the bathroom has a balcony which is rather unusual. The front and rear gardens whilst small are quiet and secluded. The ground floor stays very cool, even in very hot weather. Well equipped kitchen, but tv reception and WiFi a bit patchy.Overall this was a great base for us and we had a really good time.

Very well appointed house, near to all amenities. Easy parking. System for deposit for damages not convenient for UK renters. Would be easier if paid via Vrbo.

Drawing at Françoise beautiful, old, stone family home

As most properties in France , you pay for everything, which in most places, would be included. So beds were made and towels provided ( you pay for it on arrival). We had to sort out the daily tax and the electricity rate ( at 11:30 pm). We were so tired, all we wanted was to have a cup of tea. Three was none, but Françoise left us wit a bottle of cider and locally baked biscuits, which we devoured as soon as she left us. I did suggest to her that it would be nice to have a basic things in the house for people arriving from abroad. Françoise was very kind and tried hard to assist us, so we were happy with our stay. The house is old, but very homely with a small backyard , a shed at the back for (washing machine, freezer- not needed in Winter, plenty of bikes (no helmets) an extra outdoor toilet. It had 2 bedrooms + bathroom (1st floor) and a large bedroom and bathroom at the attic(2nd floor). The steps were very difficult to manage with a toddler and a 8 month old baby. Street parking was free and quite easy go find. There is a garage available around the corner to the house, but it's very difficult to get in and out, with a large vehicle. The toddler loved the church bells ringing. Françoise invited us to visit her hobby farm, so that the children could see some farm animals.

J'aimerais apporter quelques précisions: - la taxe de séjour avait déjà été collectée par Abritel-VRBO et n'a donc pas été réclamée - le paiement de l'électricité intervient toujours évidemment à la fin du séjour afin de correspondre à l'exacte consommation du locataire (nombre de personnes et période de location), ce qu'un forfait ne permet pas vraiment.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous aurions aimé pouvoir rester plus longtemps. Le gîte est très confortable, avec tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour. La cuisine est bien équipée, les lits confortables, tout est propre et fonctionnel, on s’y sent très bien. Le logement correspond parfaitement aux attentes. Il est tres pratique et spacieux pour passer un séjour en famille. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci beaucoup à Madame Lefeuvre.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette maison idéalement située, à quelques pas de la plage du Sillon et d'Intra-Muros, ainsi que du magnifique marché couvert. Notre hôte sympathique nous a donné de nombreuses idées d'activités et nous a fourni des plans et des brochures. Le stationnement était facile, avec accès à un garage. La maison est bien équipée en vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine. Le jardin est charmant et offre une certaine intimité par rapport à la maison voisine. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Das Haus ist wie in der Anzeige beschrieben, die Lage ist klasse. Alles wichtige ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Da während unseres Aufenthalts die Bewohner des Nachbarhauses renovierten und es deshalb oft etwas laut war, hat uns die Vermieterin die Kosten für den Strom erlassen

Entspannte Woche in Saint Malo

Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin war sehr herzlich und sie stand hilfsbereit mit guten Ratschlägen zur Seite. Das gemütliche Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, nicht zu weit von Strand und Stadt entfernt. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nachbarschaft waren hervorragend. Dort findet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt, ein toller Bäcker und die Markthalle mit einem ausgezeichneten Angebot war 3 mal in der Woche geöffnet. Wir haben wunderbaren Urlaub verlebt! Vielen Dank noch einmal, Madame Lefeuvre!

Réservation idéale pour visiter St Malo

Mme Lefeuvre est aux petits soins pour ses locataires. Elle est accessible au moindre petit problème logistique. Le maison est bien aménagée, équipée et située idéalement. Une multitude de commerces se situent à proximité immédiate du logement. Tout peut se faire à pied. Bien qu'en centre ville, la maison est au calme et n'est pas froide. Super séjour en famille avec le chien qui a profité de la plage à 5 minutes à pied.

Super sejour!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Saint-Malo dans la maison de Françoise. La maison est très bien située, nous avons tout fait à pied : plage, commerces, intramuros, gare... La maison est tres pratique et bien équipée, et très agreable avec la terasse / petit jardin. Enfin, Françoise a été tres accueillante et arrangeante!
