Everything was excellent. Some construction noise due to some work on the upper patio being done but did not interfere with our trip or enjoyment at all. Kristi is super friendly, got to meet her when we checked in. Location is great, condo is awesome. Overall was a fantastic trip. Thanks

Great Location

2020 Stay at Peninsula in SJD

We very much enjoyed the property and the unit was very comfortable and well-equipped, with a great view! The owners, Kristi and Ron, were great to deal with; as well as the staff at the complex - particularly the guards Jose and Salvador. We definitely want to rent this unit again.

Quiet condo

The property is beautiful, the condo is well equipped with anything you might need. Working with the host was very pleasant and she was quick to respond more than enough space for us to if you had four people that would be great as well.

Location is wonderful

Kristi's condo is a perfect place to stay in San Jose. Gated for security, it offers a view of the water and golf course while removing yourself from the from the action of the busy city. The pool will call you to sit back and relax with a good book. A two block walk will put you in the middle of it all with great restaurants and nightlife. looking forward to a return visit.

Clean and comfortable

The condo was well equipped, clean, spacious, and quiet. Sara (cleaning staff) and Jose and Salvador (security staff) were very friendly and happy to help. The condo was about 2.5km from town centre of San Jose which was a nice walk. We absolutely loved the art walk on Thursday nights. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome rooftop patio

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. There were 2 couples and it was perfect. The location is great for walking around and only a short drive into downtown San Jose. The extra rooftop patio is a great space for barbecuing and having dinner. The condo is well stocked with everything you need and the grocery store is close. Good communication with the owner Kristi. We would definitely rent this condo again. Denise

Enjoyed our stay, our dealings with Kristi was excellent. Main problem was vrbo who messed up our accommodations. To me they owe Kristi a refund. My only advice is if it is not right, say something. Stan

Everything you need … and more!

This was our third stay in the Peninsula Condos complex, but our first in this unit. This is a great complex, well taken care of and in a perfect location. The apartment was just perfect for the two of us and we were so lucky it came available due to a cancellation. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and probably the most well-equipped rental we have encountered in our several years of vacation rentals. We particularly liked the rooftop terrace which has very comfortable furniture and has both shaded and sunny areas, and is very private. If there had been 4 of us staying there it would have been nice to have additional comfortable seating in the living room - although the sofa is great, the 2 “basket” chairs not so much. Thank you for a great stay!

Christmas Escape

For the second time, we had a wonderful vacation in San Jose Del Cabo. This condo didn't disappoint. It was exactly as stated. The location is perfect to walk into town and head to the beach. We rented a car and highly recommend renting one if you are adventurous. We went to East Cape beach and enjoyed lunch at Buzzards. We ventured the other way to Todos Santos stopping at a remote beach north of Cerritos. (Glad the rental car doesn't have a tracker) where we saw whales and dolphins along with surfers. We continued on to Todos Santos and ate at Miquels where we could have stayed longer absorbing the experience. The Art Walks are also highly recommended. Dinner at Tequilas and another Thurs night dinner at Jazmins. Pick up a beer at Baja brewing too. We enjoyed the pool in the late afternoon and the deck as we forgot about to enjoy the rooftop. We plan on returning to the area in the future. Thank you Kristi for a stress free stay. Special shout out to your property manager who rescued us when we locked our keys inside.

Relaxing week. Beautiful views.

The property is nice but is older. The views are wonderful especially from the rooftop deck. The complex is quiet and we had the pool to ourselves most days. The location is ok but a bit of a walk to things if you don’t have a car especially for groceries/ beer store. It wouldn’t be so bad normally but it was very hot and humid when we were there so didn’t want to walk anywhere. It would be nice if there was detailed instructions in the condo on how to get to places like Downtown San Jose Del Cabo, La Called mer, and walmart. You can actually get a city bus from the Main Street to the La comer or Walmart for a dollar but we didn’t find that out until our last day so paid for cabs everywhere.🙁

We didn't want to leave

It was a bit last minute that we decided to stay in San Jose for our final two nights in Baja California Sur. We came across the listing for this condo and were so glad we did. The owner was excellent, responded quickly and did not seem fazed that we were doing everything so last minute. The condo itself was sparkling clean and was very well equipped. We loved the balcony and the view to the water plus the bonus space on the floor above. All in all it was very comfortable. The location was great as well. We could walk to lots of different restaurants and to the beach. At the recommendation of the owner, we had a meal at the nearby "La Forchetta" and it was one of the best of our trip. We also enjoyed wandering through the large supermarket La Comer (we took our car there) buying fresh fruit and other goodies. We were very sorry we didn't have more time to explore more of San Jose and other parts of the area. It was hard to head to the airport and leave such a lovely place.

Ideal base for exploring San Jose

My family and I stayed at Kristi's apartment for 2 nights in December. The apartment is located in a gated residential community just across from the beach hotels. Very clean, nice balcony overlooking the golf course, well stocked and equipped kitchen, great bathrooms. The apartment was an ideal location to explore San Jose, near the town center with lots of restaurants and bars. Guard at the gate was very nice and showed us where to park. Would come back!

Family time in Baja

Peninsula 302 condo offers a very comfortable space for 2 couples that is walking distance to beach, shopping and the quaint township of San Jose del Cabo. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our only regret was because of the heat we were not able to use the sunroof because of lack of shade.

Wonderful Condo in a GREAT part of San Jose!

I've stayed in this facility many times over the years and this unit is ready for your next vacation. Large size with all the amenities a family is looking for. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and entertainment. Close to grocery store and the kitchen and patios (off living room and roof top) are great for dining and relaxing.

We are recently retired educators who have enjoyed San Jose del Cabo since our 1st visit in 1999. My hope is to draw and paint (former Art teacher) and become involved with the local Art scene. For a few more months we have to stay closer to home & physical therapy as my husband recovers from a recent stroke. We also bought a 1st floor 1 BR if you need space for more than 6 or have someone with mobility issues. Curb cut for access from parking in VIlla 1 near pool.

Why they chose this property

We bought this unit for our part time retirement home due to the location, view, and quality of the Peninsula condos. Then my husband had a stroke and the 3rd floor is beyond his physical ability right now. We have purchased a 1st floor unit because we love Cabo and Peninsula, but we hope to get back to our view home soon!

What makes this property unique

Our realtor showed us 3 other properties in this area of San Jose del Cabo before this one and we couldn't believe the view, the location, the quality of the unit, and the great rooftop area. I am anxious for the day when we can be there again to sit on the patio enjoying the weather. I like to walk to the Comer Plaza, get a coffee and cake (they have the best pastries) and sit on the view deck there. I can look at the ocean all day. Everything we need is within walking distance and I feel very "home town" safe in the area.
