What a wonderful stay! The house was as-advertised. Comfortable beds, warm and inviting accommodations, and very helpful hosts. We would definitely stay here again. Also Carlton is a charming little town. A good central location if you are doing wine tasting. Also some really good restaurants. Five stars all around.

This property is FANTASTIC! Very spacious, well equipped kitchen, super clean. Loved watching the cows. Very peaceful and relaxing vibe. Walkable to charming “ downtown” Carlton. Easy drive to McMinville. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely house.

We were a party of 6 or three couples. This 3 bed/3 bath house was perfect. The dining table was large enough for 6 to eat and play games. It was fun to watch the cows from the 6 Adirondack chairs facing the field. We had the breakfast basket one morning and the ingredients were great. Everyone really liked the cinnamon rolls and blueberry muffins. A great stay.

We stayed as a group of 6 women and we were very happy with our accommodations. The beds were extremely comfortable, there were several coffee cups so we didn’t have to hand watch before running the dishwasher. Little touches like stools in each bathroom to extend counter space or sit on while applying lotion was thoughtful. The welcome cookies were so delicious!6 chairs around the kitchen table as well as 6 chairs in the yard ensure no one is let out. We went to a recommended winery by the host to Bryn Mawr and it was the highlight of our trip. So worth the drive! I was surprised by the lack of grocery items available in town at the 2 convenient stores, yogurt to be exact but no big deal. McMinnville is closer than you think and 3rd street is a must. We didn’t make reservations at Hayward and tried after we arrived but we were unsuccessful. We did eat at the Blind Pig and The Horseradish, both were good.If I had the trip to do over, we would have gone out to breakfast, skipped breakfast and then dinners instead of trying to fix/eat breakfast at the house. Most wineries have bites to nibble on. We would stay here again!

We absolutely loved this home for a vacation of best friends in Willamette Valley. The host is easy to get a hold of and even helped us with recommendations for lunch spots . Her breakfast basket is heavenly and such a special touch!! The home is perfectly located for many wineries, tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping!! We loved sitting in front of the indoor fireplace and sharing wine! Great stay all around!

Great place in wine county

Excellent place for 3 adult couples to each have our own master. Close enough to walk to town but far enough to feel like we were staying on a farm!

This was the first leg of our Girls Trip in Oregon for a Willamette Valley weekend. Darci's Guest House did not disappoint! It was so charming, and the add-on farm breakfast is a must! We enjoyed the outside patio and watching the cows in the meadow. The location was a few minutes away from a very charming downtown Carlton.

great stay

The house was perfect for 3 couples and located close to town (walkable). Great food and wineries in town. Easy location to seek out other wineries in the area. Order the breakfast basket. It will not disappoint.
