Part of Sliding Rock Cabins' designer series, and tucked into the woods of the North Georgia Mountains, Fauna Lodge is a beautifully decorated, ONE STORY, 2 bedroom (1 king bed) 1 bath cabin, with leather furniture. It has a large pavillion for the hot tub (covered to protect your wine from rain!) and firepit. There is a fenced yard for your pup, hot tub, woodburning fireplace, WIFI. Fauna Lodge is perfect for a romantic getaway.

Dog friendly with no pet fees, No cats please.

We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice.

Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

Fauna Lodge is located in nice semi secluded area outside of Ellijay, GA. The cabin met all our expectations and allowed for us to have a great week away from the big city.

Great Relaxing Stay

This property was awesome! We brought our pups and the cabin was perfect for the pups! A quiet area that was tucked away with many areas to hang out. It was hard to choose where to relax. Perfect for me, my husband, our two dogs, my mom and her dog.

My only suggestion would be to connect the gate from the porch to the gate for the dog yard so they do not have to be transferred during the cold weather. The washer and dryer were very convenient, the appliances were all modern and worked well. The fireplace was gorgeous. It was just such an overall great weekend.

A relaxing weekend getaway.

My partner and I came up for his birthday weekend. The cabin was cozy and very clean. The hot tub was amazing as well as a fireplace. The only issues I had were the cleanliness of the wine glasses which which we're extremely dirty. We elected to just drink out of paper cups the entirety of the trip. The bedroom TV screen was also cracked so we were not able to view anything on that TV but it was not a big deal. All in all the trip was very fun and enjoyable and the space was comfortable and for the most part clean.
