We certainly understand how frustrating the air travel situation must have been. As previously discussed, because this is a timeshare ownership rental, facilitating rental specialists do not have control over resort operations or the non-refundable nature of the rental agreement. The residence was available and the resort remained open awaiting your arrival. For situations like airline disruptions or airport closures, we always strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance through the VRBO platform, through the link we provide, or independently, as it can help protect your vacation investment in circumstances like this. If travel insurance was not purchased, you may wish to contact your airline to inquire about any compensation they may be offering related to the flight disruptions. Regarding the items you mentioned within the residence, we are very sorry to hear about those concerns. Issues such as maintenance items are handled directly by the resort, and their on-site team is available to address these matters promptly during a guest’s stay. We are glad to hear the resort staff was helpful and that you were still able to enjoy your time once you arrived.
