Here you will live like a grape! Known for warm days and cool nights, the Russian River Valley AVA is considered the perfect climate for both chardonnay and pinot noir grapes, but you might prefer sipping your award-winning wine by the outdoor gas firepit or cranking the air conditioning and ceiling fans to beat the mid-day sunshine. Conveniently located to downtown Santa Rosa, WineCamp offers easy access to 100’s of wineries and the New Russian River Brewing Windsor location.
The expansive single-level floor plan is furnished in a unique and eclectic mix of mid-century modern favorites and comfortable contemporary pieces. The house was located in a very quiet neighborhood and it really met our needs. We loved the two separate bedroom suites and they worked very well for the four of us. Wine camp is a fun place to be and we enjoyed it!!
This house is our favorite place to stay when we visit wine country! It was our 5th stay and love it more each time! The house is exactly like the photos. It is very clean, has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The patio with fire table is our favorite place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and watch the sunset! It is located on the western edge of Santa Rosa, so it is peaceful and quiet, but near anything you need. You will not be disappointed with this house and it will be a place you will want to return again and again!
Fantastic stay at Wine Camp. The house is beautiful, spacious, and very well stocked with anything you need. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and a great backyard with gorgeous flowers and a quail family. Perfect location to explore all of wine country. Looking forward to another stay in the future
The house was perfect for two couples travelling together. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The outdoor gathering space was used everyday. Loved looking out onto the vineyards in the morning. It was a good central location to visit several local areas.
We had an incredible stay for a week! The house is beautiful, comfortable and very spacious- and it's in a quiet neighborhood overlooking a vineyard. It's perfect for two couples, as the bedrooms and their baths are separated. The kitchen is very well stocked and has all of the equipment you'd ever need. It was so centrally located to all that Sonoma County has to offer, and an easy drive to Napa Valley also. Perfect home away from home, fantastic host communication, what more could you ask for!
The property was even better than described. It was fantastic for two couples and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Close to wineries and restaurants but on a secluded dead end street with the back patio that overlooks a vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
Amazing property and location. Close to everything, wish we had more time there. The house had everything we needed-grill, kitchen supplies, a stocked cupboard of spices and coffee. Beds were super comfortable. Great layout for 2 couples to stay.
This is our second stay at this beautiful home. We are already looking forward to #3. Perfectly located, immaculately clean, with luxury everywhere. Great beds, plenty of hot water, and immediate contact with the owner helping with our one question. Don’t hesitate to book this great home.
Great House to stay in. We loved the construction, the space planning, the upscale appliances, and retro furnishings. The beds were so nice that our friends are buying the same mattress!
A bit of a drive to Napa, but there are so many wineries to explore, you can't see them all anyway.

This is not a Napa property, nor is it advertised as such. We like Pinot and Chardonnay which is what the Russian River Valley AVA is famous for. If you like butter-bombs and blended reds, stay in Napa for goodness sake…………
This was our 3rd stay at John's beautiful home and we certainly will return. The pictures, while beautiful, do not do it justice. The two separate master suites are perfect for couples sharing the home. The kitchen has everything needed to stay in and prepare meals. The vineyard views from the patio provide a perfect setting for a glass of wine while watching the sunset. Thanks, John, for sharing your perfect home.
This was our 2nd time this month. We have family in the area and the location is great.
That said, we love the design and setting of the house. Very upscale.
We highly recommend.
We were two couples that stayed at Wine Camp for a full week. The home is spotless! So many little details were thought of in the design and amenities of this home. From blankets to use while sitting outside watching the glorious sunset to spices galore, this house is perfection!
Our stay with friends at “Wine Camp” was lovely. The property had a beautifully landscaped backyard with views of Sonoma County vineyards. Quiet and peaceful patio area with fire pit was nice to come home to after a day of exploring the wine country. Kitchen was well stocked and having two separate master suites was a plus. The host was responsive before and during our stay.
Like the finest glass of Sonoma Pinot, our stay at this VRBO was elegant, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the thoughtful design and comfort of the space—it wasn’t just a house, it was a true home base for our wine country adventures.Every detail felt carefully curated, from the sun-drenched mornings on the patio to the cozy evenings spent unwinding with a bottle from the day’s tastings. The location was ideal—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet close to the best vineyards, dining, and charm Sonoma has to offer. This property aged beautifully over our stay: warm, inviting, and delightfully complex. It elevated our entire experience and offered the perfect pairing for a week of exploration, laughter, and discovery. We’ll be savoring the memories for a long time—and already dreaming of our next pour.Cheers to a truly exceptional stay!
The house was perfect for 2 couples in wine country. So comfortable and accommodating! We enjoyed the back patio for take out dinners and bottles of wine. If you’re planning on doing wineries closer to Napa/Rutherford/Yountville, then just know it’s a good 1 hour drive. If you’re going to Healdsburg, it’s a more convenient 20 min drive. We also enjoyed downtown Santa Rosa which was only 10-15 mins away.
This is a beautiful home in an amazing location. The view from the backyard is nothing short of amazing. Several mornings, we could see the hot air balloons go up in the distance over the vineyards and with the mountains as a backdrop. The furnishings are immaculate and accessories really make you feel at home. The west facing windows offer a beautiful view all day long. Make sure to keep the shades down in the afternoon, as it tends to get a bit warm during the hardest part of the day with all the shades up. We would 100% stay here again.
