Relax on the spacious lanai and enjoy morning coffee and evening tropical drinks and pupus while enjoying the island trade breezes.

This inviting condo is conveniently near one of the two resort pools that are yours to enjoy and is perfect for 4-6 guests with comfortable furnishings, beach amenities, and a large tree-top level lanai surrounded by plumeria trees.

The second-floor entry level features living, dining, kitchen, and lanai areas with cozy furnishings, sofa sleeper, smart TV, dining table for 4, and additional breakfast bar seating. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect to have all your island favorites on hand!

Completing the entry level are the second bedroom (with resort pool view) featuring 2 Twin beds that can be converted to a single King with advance request, a spacious bathroom with shower, a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience, and even a cute wet bar.

Upstairs is all about the primary suite! This upper-level oasis features more mountain and garden views, vaulted ceilings, in-room air conditioner, smart TV, multiple closets, and spacious ensuite bath with walk-in shower. (Note: the in-room air conditioning is in the primary suite only).

Why we Love this area:
As part of the desirable Poipu Kai Resort, you'll also enjoy access to a second resort pool as well as tennis courts along the greenbelt walk to Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach Park. Here you will spot sea turtles, and in the right season, humpback whales. There is so much fun to be had from bodyboarding, surfing, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on the beach! Enjoy all that "Sunny Poipu" has to offer from this great condo at "Makanui at Poipu Kai." E Komo Mai!

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

Updated 2/13/2025: We have been notified by the Poipu Kai Association that the pool in your complex will be closed for re-plastering and maintenance. The project will begin Monday, April 14, 2025, for approximately 7 weeks. Please expect construction noise Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. During this time, you will continue to have access to the association pool located near Kalapaki Joe’s.

Very nice condo with all necessary items for a wonderful experience on the beach or just hanging out. Very nice pool, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to beaches, food, golf, and much more. Decor is a little outdated, but great if you’re from the eighties!

Great Trip

We had a fabulous time in this condo. The house was well cared for and management was quick to respond. Could see the sunrise from the bedroom. And being close to the pool was a plus for our family.

Wonderful stay

We had a short but wonderful stay in Poipu. The property’s location was perfect. We walked to shipwrecks beach in 10 minutes and enjoyed the sunrise every morning. The property had wonderful beach accessories and was stocked with the necessities we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The pool was wonderful to swim in at night. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time, the property was as we had expected and served us very well. The beach chairs and cooler came in very handy. The upstairs mattress could use an upgrade. Would definitely consider coming back here.

Quiet and perfect

We loved saying here! It had everything we needed and the layout was perfect. AC in the second bedroom would have been nice. We LOVED the AC in the huge master bedroom upstairs. Location was quiet and felt extremely safe. Loved how close it was to the beaches as well. Definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent location in Poipu

Very well equipped and stocked, clean, nicely laid out rental. Good views from the lanai. Especially enjoyed being able to see the mountains and green changing landscapes. Great paved winding walkways to Shipwreck Beach and Brennecker’s Beach. Great for morning strolls or sunset walks. The kitchen is a little dated but very functional. We had a great stay and loved the location of this place.

Clean and has Basic Amenities to start vacation

The neighborhood is quiet, walking distance to the beach. Love how clean the property is. Love it more that we have basic necessities for cooking to start our day so we dont have to run to the store. Thank you for the welcome basket. The kids devoured it.

Delightful!

Nicely appointed condo with full kitchen, which was wonderful for preparing our own meals with local fish and shrimp. Ceiling fans and vented windows kept the indoors pleasant, while porch had table and chairs for outdoor eating and view of the mountains. Beach chairs were an added bonus. Arrangement worked delightfully for us 3 senior citizens! Best location in Poipu.

We enjoyed our stay. The property manager, Paula, was extremely helpful and responsive. However, the downstairs bedroom and common area are unbearably hot as there is only air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom. The property is also on the upstairs level so would not be accessible if your party needs.

Very nice property & good location

The property was clean and in a good shape. The agent was fabulous, responding very quickly to our questions. The check-in process was seamless. Location was great, pool very close and close to Poipu beach (within walking distance but we ended up driving). It would be better if an air conditioner can be added to the lower bedroom and proper installation in the upstairs bedroom for a better sleep. Otherwise, there is always a breeze going through the unit. Great unit for family. We enjoyed stating there.
