Welcome to our newly renovated 1920’s cottage. Nestled in the friendly Hamlet of Palenville. This home is fully furnished house is located between Saugerties, Woodstock ,Catskill and Hunter mountain. We offer one king and one queen bedroom, A fully appointed kitchen.Our area offers an abundance of recreational activities or just sit and enjoy the beautiful views and sounds of nature. We are within walking distance to the area swimming holes as well as resturants and the Rip Van Winkle Golf Course. A short drive from the Saugerties or Catskill Thruway exit. There is a fire pit for those cool nights , to sit around and recap your day. There are hiking trails close by and the Catskill Park is right next door. There are many great destinations for Day trips within a 1/2 hour drive, come discover why the Catskills have enchanted people for decades....

We arrived in the evening and the house had lights outside which looked very festive. The inside was festive as well! The house was very clean, well organized, had everything you could need, comfortable beds, and an amazing hot tub! We thoroughly enjoy our stay! It snowed a couple days and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. And sitting in a hot tub while it is snowing is a must do! So much fun! Thank you Anita for letting us stay at your place!

It is the cutest place. The house had everything we were looking for and more. The host is so sweet. We were visiting relatives in the area and the house was centrally located to them and hiking. We will be planning another trip in the next few months. We hope we can rent this house again!

Cozy Catskills getaway

We had a perfect long weekend getaway in the Catskills. Super close to ski at Hunter mountain and the cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and sleeping was a dream! Highly recommend to all!

Such a perfect little place to getaway

The home was lovely, tucked away at the base of the mountains. So nice for a couple or small family and there’s lots to do nearby. Anita was very responsive and the home had such sweet personal touches. Loved the hot tub and fire pit in the back!

Perfect Property for a weekend stay. Home was beautifully decorated. We were might with Fresh Flowers and even some extra amenities due to the weather. Hot Tub was a nice touch after a long day. Would without question book again the next time we are in the area.

This easy access rental was everything expected by title. Hot tub is private, all amenities new. Good food and Saturday night live music at restaurant around corner and quick access to hiking /skiing trails and Woodstock make it “a find” for couples.

We love this house!

This was our second stay at “our little house in Palenville” as we have fondly named it. My husband, daughter and I needed a place to stay on our way to our camping trip, just for one night. Anita was gracious and flexible and allowed us to rent for the night last minute. We were so thankful and so loved being here again. We cooked dinner and then because the rain stopped we were able to hang out in the hot tub! Then just relax in the house. The beds are so comfortable. Everything we needed was there to make our overnight stay like our second home. We highly recommend this lovely craftsman cottage and will be back again and again!

Great cottage

Wow! Wonderful, comfortable, super clean, well decorated home. Once outside you can hear the local running stream. So peaceful. Eat at restaurant Red Onion, great food but reservation needed. Must visit and experience Olana and Opus 40. Opus 40 particularly beautiful and inspiring, America’s Stonehenge. Their guided tours at both locations are totally worth it. Only small complaint is there is no cable TV at the cottage. Couldn’t watch baseball playoffs but I lived!
