L'Indalo / Pretty cottage between sea and hills

The accommodation has 2 beautiful bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room, air conditioning, a beautiful 30m² terrace on one level with the living room, facing south, facing the swimming pool.

Our villa is located in a quiet residential area, ideally located 10 mins walk from the historic center of Aubagne and its markets on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and 5 mins by car from the Paluds area, which is made up of many shops. .

From the gîte you can easily reach the French Riviera and its beaches to the east, as towards the hinterland, Aix, and to the west towards Marseille and its many possibilities for visits and discoveries: you can go shopping , visit the many museums in the city, the old port, the Château d'If, the Frioul islands, the cornice, the creeks ...

Please note that parties of any kind are not allowed.

I provide linens (sheets, towels, kitchen towels) as well as a kitchen fund (oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar)

A lovely find.

A beautiful cottage set in lovely gardens and a fantastic pool. The owners are lovely and very helpful.We are hoping to arrange a return visit.We would definately recommend staying at this property for a relaxing break.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay with family

We had a wonderful couple of days. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. We would love to come back, maybe without kids to enjoy the sights and hikes more.

Lovely quiet apartment with great facilities

Elisabeth was great and very accommodating of our delayed arrival. Lovely property and garden very quiet and great location for culture and the beach! Pool was great and very well maintained, well stocked kitchen and great outdoor grill to use too!

Vacation for RWC 2023

Elizabeth was the kindest and most accommodating host!! We arrived late after a delayed flight and she was able wait for us and give us some breakfast staples. The place was spotless with everything one could wish for and the swimming pool was lovely. Close to Marseilles and Cassis.

The Humid House

The property was beautiful and the house well equipped. Unfortunately, it was so humid that everything felt wet and the laundry wouldn't dry even in 2 days. The wifi would not connect which made communication difficult. There is a cleaning fee, outlined in a contract that is signed, but what needs cleaned is not identified.

Vous n'avez pas eu de chance car il y a eu 3 jours de pluie intense au moment de votre arrivée et l'humidité était partout. Pour le wi-fi, je l'ai rétabli à la demande de votre mari et il fonctionnait puisque je l'ai contrôlé avec mon propre ordinateur. Quant au ménage, vous devez savoir que les lieux doivent être laissés aussi propres qu'à l'arrivée et cela concerne l'ensemble des pièces. Je vous l'aurais expliqué si vous m'aviez posé la question.

Quiet and cosy retreat.

Many thanks to Elisabeth and Jacques who made us very welcome, and then afforded us privacy. The property is well equipped and spacious, nicely furnished, and beautiful gardens with a clean and well maintained pool. We could sit out near the pool, or right outside the property is a lovely area for sitting and taking in the peace and quiet. The bedrooms are a nice size, the bathroom modern and with an efficient shower. The kitchen area is small, but sufficient for 2 to 4 people. It is a 20 minute walk downhill to town, and a 25 minute walk back uphill. Aubagne is quite suburban, but has some attractive features and a few decent restaurants. Cafe des Artes seems to be a favourite with locals, and we enjoyed a very good meal there. So much to see and do within a 75km radius, and we didn’t even get to look around Marseille (except the train station!). Highly recommended. Thank you again for your kind hospitality.

Wir haben mit unseren beiden Kindern (13 und16) zwei wundervolle Ferienwochen hier verbracht. Es war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Elisabeth und Jacques sind sehr nett und herzlich und stellen sicher, dass man in ihrer Ferienunterkunft eine tolle Zeit haben kann. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Zimmer groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein, der Garten ist wunderschön und der Pool der Hit!Auch die Lage ist super. Man ist mit dem Auto schnell am Meer, aber auch nicht weit von Aix-en-Provence oder Marseille. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Strände, sodass wir fast jeden Tag an einem anderen Strand gebadet haben.Die Vermieter wohnen im Haus über der Ferienunterkunft, sind aber absolut diskret, man hat einen separaten Eingang und Pool und Garten nur für sich. Bei Fragen helfen die Beiden sofort und geben super Tipps.Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und vor allem der 8-jährige Enkel war begeistert von dem großen und exklusiv zu nutzenden Swimmingpool. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt, perfekt mit wirklich allem ausgestattet und sauber. Sehr nette Vermieterin, die immer hilfsbereit sofort zur Stelle war. Die freundlichen Vermieter bewohnen den oberen Teil des Hauses, sind aber so gut wie "unsichtbar". Garten und Terrasse sowie natürlich der große Swimmingpool machen es wirklich leicht, schnell anzukommen und sich wohl zu fühlen. Wir können diese Wohnung zu 100% empfehlen.

Accueil très agréable, Elisabeth est de bon conseil et les propriétaires sont restés discrets.Le logement est très fonctionnel, tout y est et de bon goût, la literie de très bonne qualité, les petites attentions bienvenues.La piscine fût très appréciée !Je vous recommande cette location "les yeux fermés", quoique pas trop ! la région est superbe !

Un beau sejour en Provence

Je suis venu en famille avec mes parents pour y passer une petite semaine et visiter la région : operation réussie ! Le logement est très agréable, bien equipé, avec une belle piscine à disposition. Les hôtes sont attentionnés et disponibles en cas de besoin. L'environnement est calme, le centre et les commerces sont proches. Merci à vous pour ce sejour bien agreable !

Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux dans cet agréable gîte. Trop court séjour pour profiter de tous les équipements proposés. Le cadre et la situation sont très agréables, le contact et toutes ces attentions de bienvenue contribuent au plaisir. Logement spacieux, très bien équipé. Tout y est, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur! Bonne literie dans une grande chambre très silencieuse. Jardin fleuri pour le plaisir des yeux. Bref c’était très bien. En espérant y revenir.

Gîte parfait pour se détendre et découvrir la région

Gîte idéalement situé pour découvrir la région: Marseille, Aix, Cassis, les calanques et les villages de l’arrière pays. Très propre, très bien aménagé et climatisé. Avec beau jardin et grande piscine. Hôtes très accueillants, sympathiques et discrets qui font tout pour qu’on se sente comme chez soi. Belle petite attention à notre arrivée: le rosé nous attendait dans le frigo.

Pool Paradise im Feigengarten

Liebe Elisabeth und Jacques, Vous avez besoin maintenant Google Translater Vielen Dank für 14 sonnige Tage bei Euch. Alles total sauber, die Wohnung top ausgestattet und die Plancha....hoffentlich von uns gut endgereinigt....auf der Terasse schont Eure Küche und unsere Nase. Klimaanlage nachts sinnvoll. Vielen Dank für Eure Freundlichkeit und Hilfe. Wir haben übrigens in Aubagne im Tennisclub gespielt.Übergabe und Abnahme waren schnell und komplikationslos. Aubagne liegt gut für Ausflüge... Marseille, Avignon, George do Verdun,Arles... Nun zu Jaques....er pflegt Euren tollen Pool famos...merci. Der Pool ist mindestens 12m lang und zum richtigen Schwimmen super. Now without Google help, sorry for the faults Tout a fait cinq etoile plus et peut etre ...accent n est pas possible.....a bientot. Merci beaucoup pour notre vaccance. Oliver

Superbe endroit

Nous y avons séjourné du 23 au 29 juillet 2023. Sejour parfait, logement très propre , la décoration est hyper soignée toutes les commodités y sont. Le logement est proche de beaucoup de points touristiques tout en étant dans un quartier très calme, Aubagne a un très beau centre ville. Les propriétaires sont des personnes d'une extrême gentillesse et d'une discrétion absolue tout en étant présent pour répondre aux questions ils connaissent parfaitement leur region. À recommander les yeux fermés. Cette location vaut vraiment le détour nous y séjourneront d'ailleurs très probablement encore 🙂🙂

Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et sympathiques à la recherche de notre bien-être. De très bons conseils concernant la région. Le gîte est super bien situé géographiquement. Propreté impeccable tout est de très bons goûts. Vraiment une semaine plus qu’agréable. À recommander absolument !
