Our BEAR COUNTRY property is a beautiful high-end authentic log cabin, which has over 1,935 square feet of living area. It is completely equipped with all you need to enjoy your stay from linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. This cabin was put together with a lot of care and thought to detail, so you will never forget your stay at Bear Country. It is nestled in an acre and a half of wooden forest facing Bluff Mountain just 15 minutes from the Parkway and all the activities. This welcoming cabin offers a private setting with a great deck designed to maximize the mountain views for your enjoyment.

Main living area offers Wireless High Speed Internet access, smart TV with Roku to access Netflix, HBO Go and more. Cable TV is also available.

Kitchen is equipped with service for 6 and more as well as all the pots, pans, cookware, everything you need to create your own gourmet meal. We feature electric stoves with 5 burners, microwave, oven and side by side refrigerators with filtered water & ice dispensers. Going a step further, we provide a coffee maker, expresso maker, blender, toaster oven, rice maker and all necessary utensils to stock your kitchen all the comforts of home. A rustic center island to make food preparation easy.

The dining room area provides seating for 6 with authentic Amish rustic wood furnisher.

Loft Bedroom features a king size bed with quality mattress, access to private deck, a private master bathroom with Jacuzzi.

Main floor bedroom features a queen size sleigh bed with quality mattress, a dresser with mirror, night stand, a lighted ceiling fan and TV. Just outside the bedroom there is a full bathroom.

Basement bedroom was designed with children in mind with a queen rustic log bed with quality mattress, dresser with mirror, 2 night stands, a lighted ceiling fan and TV with Wii station and easy access to the game room. Kids will love this room as well as adults!

Game room features pool table, TV and a beautiful solid wood bar with marble top for entertaining and a full bathroom for convenience .

The basement contains a full size washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board.

Large deck features a picnic table and plenty of seating to enjoy nature.

The grass area features a fire pit with benches, a charcoal BBQ and a table with chairs.

Parkway is just 15 minutes from Bear County Cabin, the Parkway offers a lot of activities for the whole family mini golf, go cart racing, zip lining, mountain coaster rides and tons of restaurants to choose from.

Ober Gatlinburg offers activities all year round from skiing and tubing in the winter to mountain coaster and summer tubing, alpine slide and water slides.

Beautiful, Clean Cabin

To start, this was easily the cleanest cabin/home we have ever rented. The place was spotless. It was very roomy, such that the 6 of us were able to be together or apart comfortably. The view from the deck is amazing. It's also really neat how they have things laid out. We used the fire pit, the kids used the hot tub, we all played corn hole and on the evening it rained, we played billiards and board games. We would happily stay here again.

Great cabin and location

We had a great long weekend stay at this cabin. The location is great - close enough to Pigeon Forge to be convenient, but far enough away to be very quiet and feel remote. Unlike other cabins we have stayed at around Sevierville, this one has true privacy with no homes on either side or behind the cabin. Location is on a cul-de-sac so no cars driving by. Everything is in great condition with interesting decor and great internet. We’ll be going back this fall!

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I along with our 2 children stayed here for a week while celebrating our 10 yr anniversary. It was perfect for our family! The kids played pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub! We had a fire and roasted marshmallows in the evenings. I loved watching the sunset on the deck. Absolutely beautiful!!! We'll definitely book this property again!

Couples Weekend getaway

Great cabin- seems small from outside but well organized inside! Only recommendation I would have is to add a propane grill for visitors to cook with. Charcoal takes too long, and too much cleanup!

We are local Floridians, but our family loves visiting Pigeon Forge and the Smokie Mountains to enjoy the changing of the seasons and the many activities in the area so much, that we decided to purchase our vacation home here. We like recommending hidden gems in the area to our guest to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

Bear Country cabin is perfectly located 15 minutes from the Parkway and all the activities it has to offer, but at the same time secluded and private with amazing views of the mountains. The property is easy to get to with well paved and easy access roads. The cabin sets on a cul-de-sac on top of a small hill looking out at the mountains. It is nice and hard to find a property in the mountains with a large flat driveway that can accommodate 3 to 4 cars.

What makes this property unique

The cabin offers privacy, easy access, great parking and large deck areas with amazing mountain views to enjoyable any time of the year. In the winter, you have skiing, tubing and all the snow activities. In spring, the flowers are out and the weather is great time to enjoy the Smokie Mountains. In the summer, you have hiking, white water rafting and canoeing. In the fall, you have beautiful colors of the changing of the leaves. After you finish exploring, you can always end your day by lying in the hot tube and relaxing as you enjoy a beautiful sunset.
