Located on C / Toro, 20 meters from the Plaza Mayor, on the main street of the city, in the historic center of Salamanca, next to all the monuments. Best impossible location, with the advantage that being inside is absolutely quiet without noise.

Great location and a wonderful host.

This apartment is in an excellent location near to the main square. All of the main attractions are nearby and it is even an easy walk to the train station if you want [bus station probably best by taxi if you have luggage but the taxis are cheap]. Jose, the host, could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to look after us. He met us in the street to make sure we didn't get lost and pointed out the directions to the main features of Salamanca. His introduction to the apartment was comprehensive and helpful. The apartment itself is in beautiful condition and very clean and comfortable. It should be said that all of the windows look out to a narrow interior space and into the opposite apartments which does give it a slightly closed in feeling. However, the upside of this is that despite being in the centre of the city there is absolutely no noise at all. It was a great experience have such a wonderful host and visit such a beautiful city.

Handy quiet oasis just steps from Plaza Mayor

This property is exactly how shown in the photos and was a delight to stay in for a week while attending a conference at Salamanca University. It is very modern with good facilities and very comfortable bed etc. Just steps away from Plaza Mayor but when you are back in apartment it is a quiet space for you to recharge and relax. There is parking nearby (250meters) where we left the car for the whole week as you can walk everywhere. We bought produce from local market and cooked some evenings and of course headed out later to immerse ourselves in the local custom of being out walking in early and late evening. The space is very well designed and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms it was very comfortable for two couples to have space both independently and together. I would recommend it without reservation to anyone -singles, couples or small family as a great space to call your own during your stay in this amazing city. The owner Jose (and designer of the renovation - check out the brilliantly conceived lighting in apartment) responds very quickly to enquiries and was accessible during our stay through WhatsApp if we had questions.

Perfect in every way for my needs!!

I stayed in this apartment for five weeks while studying Spanish. It is in the absolute best location in town because it is about 20 steps from the magnificent Plaza Mayor. Despite this, it is very quiet due to windows opening into two interior courtyards (no view, but you’ve got the Plaza Mayor at your feet!). Jose is an talented Arquitect who has renovated this lovely apartment with fabulous touches (including a really cool brick wall and plenty of great lighting) and good taste. It is incredibly safe-I never felt at all insecure and I am 68 and was alone (female) there the whole 5 weeks. Quiet cocktail bar right at the front door was so friendly and comfortable for me that it became my living room for a cocktail in the evening. The well-appointed kitchen made it easy to cook for myself with good sized refrig and freezer, a good oven and plenty of plates and utensils. Towels and sheets were ample. Internet was the best (fastest) I’ve ever had in a VRBO. Cleanliness was A+. There’s a small utility balcony for checking out weather and hanging clothes if you don’t want to use the dryer. Jose was incredibly gracious and helpful -he gave me the name of several gyms, where to buy groceries and even made a special trip to help me log in to the wifi because I’m such an idiot about such things. I was frankly blown away by how perfect it was in every way. !muchísimas gracias, José, para ayudarme tanto con una experiencia inolvidable en Salamanca!

Perfect location, comfortable and clean. PURE PERFECTION.

It's always nerve racking when choosing an apartment online, site unseen. We hit jackpot with this one. From the first email to Jose our experience was 5 star. He is wonderful in answering emails IMMEDIATELY and sending me whatever I needed for our visa process. He even told us to have the driver from the airport call him (since the driver didn't speak English) and he made all the arrangements to get us to the address. He even waiting in the street, in the freezing cold at 11:00 pm to meet our cab. The location is literally in the middle of EVERYTHING. Plaza Mayor is steps away, shopping, grocery, Pharmacy, bakeries and restaurants galore. The apartment is newly remodeled and fully furnished with all the amenities. The sheets and towels were all new. Although located in the center of the city, the apartment is pretty quiet mainly due to the super nice double pane windows. Jose treats you like family. He has been accessible for any questions we have had. Internet and phone calls to the US included are definitely a plus. Super happy with our choice and would do it again in a heart beat.

Apartamento muito central e ao mesmo tempo muito silencioso. Ótima recuperação. Tudo a funcionar perfeitamente. Apenas deixo a sugestão de aumentar o equipamento de cozinha. Tendo em conta que podem estar 6 pessoas, deveriam estar sempre pelo menos 6 peças de cada prato/ taça/ copo, etc. também faltam taças para saladas, arroz, massa...

Amazing solution in Salamanca

Great solution in the center of the city. I have chosen the apartment due to the amazing location: only 20 meters from Plaza Mayor, in the center of Salamanca. In addition to the location, all the other elements are very good. The apartment is new inside, all the details are beautiful. The furniture is in line with the pictures, everything is new and works perfectly. The apartment was extremely clean. The shower and the kitchen worked well. Despite the location, due to the fact that the apartment looks toward an internal “patio”, it is silent and quiet. We were in four and the size of the apartment was perfect. When we arrived the host, José, was already in the apartment, waiting for us, and allowed to us a fast and easy check-in. Also for the check-out no problem and we had the possibility to leave the luggage for some additional hour. So, in general, the apartment is highly recommended. For sure, if we will come back in the future, we will repeat the same choice.

Great spot in Salamana

José was amazing! Extremely helpful and accommodating; helped us find alternative housing for a few days, helped us move our (many) bags into the flat, gave directions and recommendations for places to go and how to get there, and made a point to come say goodbye. The apartment is just off the Plaza Mayor, so walking distance to nearly everything, including the far-flung Campus de Unamuno and Facultad de Derecho in the University of Salamanca. And there's a great little bar right outside the front door. Hoping to go back next summer!

Un alojamiento espectacular. Un 10.

El apartamento es muy amplio y cómodo, esta reformado a capricho, espectacular y con muy buenos materiales. Consta de dos dormitorios amplios y dos baños cómodos. Tiene salón cocina comedor todo integrado, pero separados los ambientes, es una casa funcional y cómoda para estar y pasarlo en familia. En mi caso, fuimos 3 adultos y dos niños pequeños y no tuvimos ningún inconveniente ni de espacio ni de nada. Es una vivienda que esta en pleno centro, a 20 metros de la plaza mayor y pese a que en Salamanca hay un gran trasiego de gente y por ello mucho bullicio, en la casa no se oye ningún ruido externo. Su propietario Jose, es una persona encantadora, atenta y cuida el más mínimo detalle, no solo por la reforma y decoración de la vivienda (realizada por él) también porque el apartamento se encuentra completamente equipado, con todos los electrodomésticos necesarios para una estancia cómoda, como por los útiles de limpieza, etc. Jose, muchas gracias por tú hospitalidad, volveremos.

Wonderful experience!!!

I don't know what else I can say about this place. It is in a great location, but tucked away from the street noise and is completely secure. The layout and size of the apartment are great, and the amenities are a great bonus for my husband and I and our young daughters. Also the apartment is very clean. Jose was a delite to work with. I would highly recommend!

Fabuloso Puente en Salamanca

Apartamento estupendo. Nos lo encontramos muy limpio a la llegada y eso que el dueño Jose Antonio nos lo dejó ocupar antes de lo previsto. El apartamento es tal como se ve en las fotos. Dispone de todo tipo de menaje para hacer la estancia agradable. Situación inmejorable, al lado de la Plaza Mayor. Muy cómodo para ir con niños y disfrutar de la ciudad. La disponibilidad de la plaza de parking también es un aliciente. También destacar la amabilidad de Jose Antonio que en todo momento estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros y que no nos faltara de nada. Sin duda alguna, si volviésemos a la ciudad repetiríamos. Lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos y familiares. Conchi y Manolo.

Beautiful apartment in wonderful part of town

I stayed at Jose's apartment for close to two months while attending Spanish Language school in Salamanca. The apartment and location is the best of both worlds as the Plaza Mayor and extraordinary historical sights are all within easy walking distance but after a day of sightseeing it was so nice to return home to Jose's clean, modern, very chic apartment. Jose is an architect and his skills are exemplified in the choices he has made to beautifully update the bathrooms, really cool lighting in the living room and an exposed brick wall. All the amenities are as noted on the VRBO website. Jose lives and works nearby and quickly responded by email or phone to any of my questions or concerns and was very helpful with my transportation to and from Madrid when I needed a translator for arrangements. I am a retired female who was alone at the apartment and felt safe at all times in the apartment, the building and the neighborhood. The small street is blocked off from traffic and a few steps out the front door is a charming bar, perfect for a cocktail after a busy day!

El piso es conforme con el anuncio. Es como las fotos. La ubicacion no puede ser mejor, a unos pasos de la Plaza Mayor y de los muchos lugares de interés de la ciudad. La amabilidad y la atencion que nos presto el dueno es parte de una estancia muy agradable. Recomendamos este piso para disfrutar de la belleza de Salamanca. El aire acondicionado se aprecia los dias de calor asi como la tranquilidad del lugar. La plaza de garage es una ventaja en una zona peatonal.

Altamente recomendable

Este piso es perfecto para famílias que quieran disfrutar de Salamanca. Localizado al lado de la Plaza Mayor, permite visitar todo el centro sin necesidad de coche. El loft dispone de todo lo especificado en la descripción además de ser muy funcional y estar decorado con mucho gusto. Dispone de utensilios de cocina así como de todo lo necesario para pasar unos días cómodamente. Cuando llegamos, encontramos el piso muy limpio. Sin dudarlo recomendaríamos esta propiedad a amigos o familiares. La atención del propietario, Jose Antonio, fue muy buena al explicarnos lo que podíamos encontrar en el piso así como qué sitios debíamos visitar en la ciudad.

Propiedad altamente recomendada :)

Nuestra estancia de 20 días en esta propiedad fue maravillosa. Tiene una ubicación envidiable con la Plaza Mayor solo a unos pocos metros de distancia y una gran variedad de tiendas a lo largo de toda la calle Toro. El apartamento esta bien distribuido con todas las instalaciones necesarias e inpecablemente limpio. José Antonio nos recibió amablemente , nos recomendó lugares de interés y siempre estuvo al tanto de todas nuestras inquietudes. No dudaríamos un instante en volver a rentar esta propiedad.

Amazing apartment and owner

José is so nice! He went above and beyond to help us with not just the normal things but many, MANY extras. He is warm and genuinely wants to help. He has been the best contact/owner of an apartment that we have ever rented--and we´ve rented a lot. The apartment itself is just as nice as it appears in the photographs and is quiet, despite being next to the Plaza Mayor. José has done thorough and thoughtful renovations. The apartment is outstanding, and the best thing about the apartment is José. I like him and trust him and would rent anything again from him in a heartbeat!
